I've been working hard on creating the ESS Faction Request Document. This is NOT the official request and after scanning the forum I couldn't find a better place to put this. I'm looking for some friendly advice as to if anything needs to be changed or altered. We already pretty much know our clans direction and what we want to do with it, so please don't sit there and try to change what we are. Anyone can shoot holes through someone's kite, it's not going to help it fly any better. So see what you can contribute to make our document better. I welcome your advice.

Mission Objective of the ESS/Le'Piracy -

"Le'Piracy"

The Piracy is to be Continuous and Unrelenting. Sirius must not be safe, especially the border/edge worlds for all lawful citizens of House Territory be they Military, Business, or Individuals. The actions of every individual who chooses this life must be to the code of a pirate or you are nothing but a poser. A pirate fights it out until the end. A pirate will do whatever he must to make a living and provide himself with the lifestyle that pleases him. And above all else, an Outcast always protects the interests of the Outcasts at home and abroad. The Liberty Navy must also pay for destroying our lives, revenge will be taken.

Faction Background/History -

The Elite Shadow Society formed out of the Horde Xtinction, and as such the Horde Xtinction must be discussed to gain an insight into the Elite Shadow Society.

Background -

The "Horde Xtinction" was a classified experimental project conducted by the Liberty Security Force, deep underground on planet Anchorage located within the Alaska System at a highly classified Black Site publicly denied by the Liberty Navy.

Incorporating the help of several corporations and Liberty Navy’s own R&D Department, the project spanned several years and a significant proportion of Liberty's defense budget went into the project.

Cybernetics manufactured by Deep Space Engineering, stasis pods and genetic engineering equipment constructed by Cryer Pharmaceuticals and experimental communication technologies by Ageira Technologies were developed and utilized, all under a classified governmental contracts in tandem with a few of Liberty Navy’s own classified contributions of technology and equipment as well as the facility to house this project. This project was code-named the Horde Xtinction, a classified multi-objective project.

The Horde Xtinction was developed and passed by the Liberty Navy to create a battalion of cyborgs. They were each brainwashed, genetically altered, and implanted extensively. The goal of the project was to help bring about a new era for Liberty. These operatives were to infiltrate criminal organizations and unlawful houses in Sirius. The agreed upon targets ranged from the Liberty Rogues to the Lane Hackers; Outcasts and Corsairs; Illegal operations in Liberty and abroad extending even as far as the Edgeworlds and Borderworlds. Altogether 350 individuals were taken for this experiment. Most of the people were either young adults with no families or those imprisoned. At the end of the Genesis Phase of this project the operatives were to be sent out amongst the stars and do whatever they could to infiltrate certain organizations however they could and make a life for themselves. With their cybernetic enhancements and genetic enhancements they would have been able to advance quickly in the underground world being able to do more than a normal person. Each operative was interlinked to the other through transceivers located in their spinal columns. They would have been able to easily work in tandem with each other and transmit data across vast distances via subspace communication relays commonly found in Sirius. The intelligence gathered in this way alone was invaluable, not to mention having inside operatives to boot.

Close to the completion of the Genesis Phase of the project the entire battalion of operatives were put into stasis and moved to another secured location to begin their mental conditioning. To reprogram their minds how Liberty Navy saw fit. But something happened in transit before they reached their destination. While en route to the facility a two wondering Outcast Sabres stumbled upon the convoy while they were en route to a friendly base nearby. Being close to their destination they saw fit to attack the escorts and destroy them so that they could salvage the transport ships. During the assault the power systems of the lead transport fluctuated and several of the stasis pods went offline waking several of the HX. Things went downhill from there for Liberty Navy fast…

Emergence of the HX -

They woke up not knowing where they were… Nor who they were… Trivial things like when and how went out the nearest airlock as many of them woke to consciousness. Their minds awaiting memory implantation and psycho manipulation to ensure their operation was carried out when put into the field were very basic. Primal urges rampant, no true identity marked into their minds. They were like a blank slate that had been educated about many things, yet had never lived a day of life. One by one they put the universe into true focus as they came to stand on their feet slowly from the stasis pods from which they awoke. The stagnant air around them was frigidly cold and strangely humid. They immediately noticed something was not right about themselves as they studied each other visually and themselves. After a few moments they came to the realization that they were not normal. They had all been surgically altered with cybernetic implants. In the cold dimly lit corridor they stood there near motionless as different colored LEDs flickered in sequences on their implants. The patterns and sequences began to sync up as they began to think in unison. It was strange. They could hear each others thoughts, see and feel what each other felt. They deduced they must somehow be linked mentally to each other via the implants. The one now known as Venom looked around and noticed the ship was under attack. The power fluctuations must have released several of them from stasis he gathered. He took to the bridge while the others dismembered the crew, followed by the one known as Ezekiel. They murdered the officers and took control of the ship with little resistance. Venom investigated the bridge not knowing everything about the controls off hand he began seeing what he could do. Ezekiel looked around as well and then it struck Venom. He saw through Ezekiel’s eyes a patch cord that looked similar to a interface conduit for droids. He reached for it and plugged it into the port on the back of his neck embedded in his spinal column. Almost immediately they all took notice of this interface collectively. It was a crude feeling, almost as if being part of the ship itself. Ezekiel sat down in the chair next to Venom and watched. The rest of the stasis pods on the ship were released within seconds and the entire ship was under his control. He retargeted the ships weapons and took out the Liberty Navy fighter escorts with the transports heavy turrets. The two Outcast ships immediately took notice baffled at the friendly fire and moved off to just outside of weapons range. Venom then targeted the other transport ships and blew out their shields and weapons arrays essentially disabling them. The transports started hailing wondering what the hell was going on. He hacked their shipboard mainframes over the comm. Frequencies and disabled the other stasis pods releasing his people. A strange hum grew over the comm on all frequencies for all to hear within range. Hundreds of voices speaking lowly in the background for a few seconds until a deafening thud of them all coming together… ‘’We are the Horde Xtinction. You will now be executed for crimes committed against us…’’. Over the comm. channels screams could be heard as the crews of the other transports were ravaged by the awoken HX. A truly dark day for the Liberty Navy.

The Outcast pilots had no idea what to make of what was going on, but at this point they knew there was nothing much that they could do. Scans of the ships showed 350 life forms now when previously it had been a small compliment of normal crew for the transports. If they took the ships and disabled them there would be no way they could board them and take the ships. Venom linked the ships to his mind and moved them into his own curious formation moments later. He then hailed the Outcast vessels on a secured channel after interfacing with the ships logs seeing that they had attacked their new found enemies. ‘’Outcast Vessels, we ask for your assistance. We are not your enemies.’’ The pilots conferred with each other and hesitated at first. They agreed to guide them some place safe…

The Outcasts lead them away from Liberty space and helped them to Ruiz in Omicron Beta. Along the way they stopped at a Freeport and received aid from the Zoners to help fix their ships and get supplies and food for all of these people. The Zoners being a gracious people aided them and sent them on their way. Having no where else to go the HX pieced together their lives and studied all of the records on the ship. They had found cases of VR Neural chips with detailed logs on the HX project. It had records of every member’s registry numbers and detailed records of the experiments since they were being shipped to a new location for the final phases of the project. In the weeks to come they held their own pirating a long side some of the Outcasts they had made friends with and using their newly acquired transport ships to haul cardimine. They removed the stasis pods and sold them for what they needed to get started. It was a truly odd situation for them. No true home, no family, no life before this. They did know one thing though. The Outcasts were their only friends and Liberty had all too much in a part of destroying their lives. Revenge is what they lived for now. Revenge…
After years of working with the Outcast and making relations with other friends of the Outcasts they had established themselves as a unique organization all their own. The Horde Xtinction made their way up in the universe buying freighters, fighters, and gunships. They had scavenged derelict ships and stripped them of parts and weapons. On their journeys moving contraband items from shady place to shady place they made their own relations with several factions in Sirius. Their most notable dealings to date were with the Zoners who have always been kind to these orphans of Sirius, the Lane Hackers & Golden Chrysanthemums always interested in trading with them at their bases. Their plans over the years lead them to Liberty once again where they made dealings with the Liberty Rogues so they could get a foothold in the area to exact their revenge. They fought along side the Outcasts like brothers and sisters to stop Corsair advancement into their new homeland, and disrupt the corporations who stood in the way of the Orange Dream.

The Birth of the Elite Shadow Society –

Over time Venom, the unquestioned leader of this group who freed his brethren decided it was time for a change. They had been fighting for their reasons and making a living doing so but it was not enough. It was time to step things up. He realized that they had found their place in the universe and it was time to really make the bold moves. He drew up a manifesto with the aid of his closest followers. The HX was to be reorganized as a military power of piracy, smuggling, and overall defense and offense of their beloved homeland, the Outcast Nation. They strengthened their ties with their foreign friends and worked hard to pay them off to obtain access to their technologies freely. Millions of credits exchanged hands and they built themselves up finding refuge on bases around Sirius sympathetic to their cause buying hangar space, equipment, and updated vessels.

Present Day –

The Elite Shadow Society has made their move. Their position is solidified through their actions and through their desire to secure the interests of their homeland and to exact their revenge. Still claiming Ruiz as their Headquarters, Venom tirelessly plots to destroy Liberty and to expand his holdings in the universe. He loves the life of a pirate and the life he has lead as an Outcast. To anyone who would stand in our way… May The Gods Have Mercy On Your Souls, For We Shall Have None On Your Bodies –

Day-to-Day Activities -

On a Day-to-Day basis the Elite Shadow Empire will engage in many activities, these activities include taxing, defending Outcast interests, smuggling, training, as well as carrying out all general orders, special orders, and protecting their assigned post. Other activities include aiding allies and practicing fleet formations and mock missions to be at the ready for the real thing.

Duties-

On a day-to-day basis the Elite Shadow Society will be financed from minor acts of piracy, however, from time-to-time, major acts of piracy will be committed to ensure financial stability of the ESS.
Causing havoc with those hostile to the Elite Shadow Society, will take place at the discretion of the ESS, and for the most part they will raid systems not for monetary reward, but intelligence gathering purposes as knowledge is power and they seek more of it.

They may also escort smugglers of cardamine, at their own discretion and usually for a nominal fee.
Helping to exact revenge on the Liberty Navy is one of our strongest motivations.
They are different from other Outcasts, whilst they believe in defending the orange dream their motivation for doing so is completely different. This is to be expected as the majority of those in the ESS are not Maltese by birthright.

Used Equipment/Weapons –

Outcast, Lane Hacker, Golden Chrysanthemums, Pirate, Codenames,, Civilian Weaponry, Universally Available Equipment/Weapons(I.E. Supernova’s, Armor Upgrades, Cruise Disruptors, etc.).

Used Ships –

Elite Shadow Society will use only Outcast, Border World, Lane Hacker, Pirate, and Golden Chrysanthemum ships. In Addition to this Civilian Assault Ships may be used(I.E. Griffin, Eagle, etc.). Ships are restricted by rank and must be approved by superiors when going for Capital Class Warships. Any ships outside of our statement must have written RP and approval for useage.

Naming Convention Cont. -

All character names must be uniform and use only the specified formats. In addition to this the need for spaces will be represented with periods only. An example of this would be [ESS][Long.Name]. In addition there are special tags within our organization. All members of the Shadow Legion are granted [ESS|SL] tags and all members of the Agency are granted [ESS|A] tags with the inclusion of Agent as part of their call sign, example being [ESS|A][Agent.Anthrax]. Any violation of this naming convention and the character in question will be asked to change the name. There is no option in this. This promotes professionalism and pride in your tags and your clan.


Policy Statement/Axiom of the ESS -

The Policy of the Pirate Empire is an ode to the Jolly Roger, the symbol of all that is Piracy. When you disrespect the Policy, you in turn disrespect the Jolly Roger which is what we stand for.

Recruitment –

To become a member of the ESS you must be inducted into the Shadow Legion, our logistics branch. The SL is responsible for all recruiting, armories, banks, convoys, and fleet support. During your time here you will be tested, trained, and mentored. It will give us a chance to know you and you a chance to know us. You will operate in tandem with your superiors helping the logistics branch fulfill it’s day to day activities and be given a chance to show us your stuff.

Entry into the ESS is started once either you have contacted us or we have contacted you. There is a 10mil entry fee that can either be paid upon being recruited or you can work it off or save up to pay it while you are in the Shadow Legion. You will be given your tags and full membership upon a Captain’s decision and recommendation, then and only then are you truly a full member of the ESS.

Ranks -

The Elite Shadow Society has a specific rank structure and of the rank structure there is a ship cap, meaning that there is a certain level of ship that they can obtain for their rank and nothing better. For example, a Bomber pilot may also own a VHF or lesser ship. A Destroyer pilot may also own a Gunboat, VHF, HF, etc...

Enlisted -

To become enlisted in the ESS all you have to do is join and meet our criteria as well as be accepted by the higher ranks and pass our tests. If you can do this, then you may become an Enlisted Member. Promotion will be given within enlisted ranks by show of actions and how you carry yourself, and also how much you contribute to the clan and it's overall harmony.

Officer -

To become an Officer of the ESS you must have been enlisted for a period no shorter then two months and you must be approved by all Admirals and Captains. Also, your acceptance as an Officer will be based on your performance with the ESS while Enlisted. Things that will be evaluated are but not limited to - How you treat other members; Your overall understanding of the ESS; How you carry out your orders; Your PvP Skill; RP Skill; Your knowledge of the server and it’s rules and in addition, how well you navigate in game; Leadership qualities and how well you show that you can organize others.

To become an Officer you must show exemplary stature within the clan and you must show that you command the respect of your peers. We cannot give you an Officer Rank and let you bypass every Enlisted Rank and let you have that power over others if you cannot show that you have met the criteria above. To be an Officer is a serious duty to the ESS. You will be given much power as you progress in rank and much freedom of operation using those below you to help carry out your wishes. So it is a big deal. You have to show us you want this and you can handle it.

You've got the Phantoms both under neutral and under friendly.

Also, i understand about the RP and all, but here is something about GS and bigger in liberty.
1st: Dessies and bigger in NY are prohibited by the council of dons aka, if you are caught, you will have problems with official outcast factions.
2nd: The rogues arent really liking the fact that OC GS are in liberty space since they are lawful magnets.

Also, I saw you guys not long ago in my Pirate IDed Rogue IFFed Pirate train, on the Mojave lane, heading to Cortez to sell some stuff on Montezuma. I was using lanes since its faster and you guys tried to pirate me.

Also, remember that anything biggest than a bomber in liberty will get killed pretty fast, especially dessies and bigger.

For the rest it look nice.
