thinking of makeing a (my first and indie)major pirate charcter

ok firstly it wil lbe most probly a gunboat captian(ifnot cruiser or dessie)as i cant fly fighters due to aframe lag issue
secondly and most importantly
whats eaisest to play (rp wise rank wise ectra)(this comming from a LABC Captian)3rdly would said faction shun another capitol or (and youl lreally need to convince me otherwise)to join ...*dramatic music) an official faction those of you that are familer with liberty know the [1st][ LCAS Fort Louisbourg and mabye even the late LNS niagra Falls(now a freelancer The.Niagra.Falls) so you know i know how to roleplay and wil lset a good example(i hope) my only vice is if im thrust in a faction not to bash me to much i seriously cannot fly fighter craft(bombers are so-so but the lowest id prolly go is a "poor mans cruiser" (a liner or something ) ill need some more time to get the funds but i figured id pitch this to the comunityso

well there really are not many pirate factions with capital craft access

the Outcasts and Corsairs are pretty much saturated with them, I would reccomend making something a bit different..... how about you wipe the dust off of that Molly Destroyer and fight for the freedom of Dublin?

meh...that's more of myself talking...I want a Molly destroyer


well the Rogues, Mollys, Hessians, and Corsairs are the only pirates with real capital ship access

i had a molly(kenny trask)ended up sending em to the order because the UOG went so damned inactive it wasent funny as for getting the ship i can get it(be it obsolete and ill armed or brand new) thats no worry as i said though it dosent even have to be a try "capitol" ship a liner witrh like a heavy armor pack could prolly do the job fine(tho suckhorridly in game) this is mainly a roleplay charcter not a pew pew magoo one

The thing about piracy, is the only two real pirate organisations are the Buccaneers and the Rouges. The Outcasts and Corsairs can't be counted as just a pirate faction, their RP/Diplomacy is so much more.

allright so pirate was a bad choice of wording i ment unlawful call me sterotypical truth be told i just want something new than <strike>liberty </strike> house military or capitol ships and have no ideas yet stil lwant a big gun vessel
note the ship can be shared if you know me and trust me if theres allready a xo or second captian your thinking of incorprateing into it(aslong as its not insane or otherwise unable for somebody like myself to play) il lgladly help out

iot sounds like an excuse to PVP but to those that know me my ship spends about 9o% of its time in norfolk drydocks i use it as a roleplay platform rather than a killfest

Unless you can RP to a very high level and dont mind showing swarms of nubs how its done, dont make a corsair or OC, and if you do and dont/cant do the above things, you will get shunned, and generalised with all the other indy lolwutters.

As for unlawful factions with caps larger than gunboats, the list goes something like;

Corsairs
Outcasts
Liberty Rogues
Mollys
Blood Dragons
Red Hessians
Council (only Gallic though)
Lane Hackers


Pick one of those that you would want to fly a cap in.

And myself, i only ever buy a cap in a faction i am comitted to, as its a big load of money to set up, and a big waste to loose/sell.


As for pirating in a GB, every pirate faction in the game (except unioners, bundshuh, LWB and GC) have access to a GB.

thanks for the advice zuma (even tho liberty anis as bad as sairs and oc=p) and i do fine there keep the sugestions cimming and if anyone is willing to help fund the ship or let me have acess to one as a trial(i can pay later if i meet satasfactory requiorments) thats an option as welland again if said faction can persuade me(and itll be hard not impossable as again most need you to have /be good at fighter combat and i cant fly em) that is also a option im willing to try allmost anything

I implore you to come to Kusari. It is made of traders. And lawfuls, actually.

Choose between GC and BD, unless you want the two Quasi lawfuls. GC are just about all girls though. But lots of people love RPing girls. OC/corsairs can come to Kusari, however, a very limited zoi... Honshu and Kyushu, are just about all.

Just one thing, don't go in Liberty with your Dessie and Higher, if you do, and get killed pretty fast by a lots of bombers of all kinds. LPI guys are pretty good at destroying OC pancake dessies.
Llawful dessies in Liberty will get killed someday if they decide to get a bit too far from their bases. Which they shouldnt do inRP, since they would prefer using caps against either each other in the case of OC and 'sairs or base defence in all the other cases.


Still, if you want to RP, go for it. The more RPing caps we have, the better it is. It will serve as a good example for roleplay.

If you want to show to most lolcaps what is RP, in hope of converting some of them to the good side, Outcast and Corsair are good choices.

If your goal is to RP with almost only people who RP, go for Kusari unlawfuls.

Also, 8 turrets =/= super godly GB compared to others.
