Junker ID with Gallic Corporation IFF?

I was wondering, If I want to show that I am a Gallic Junker, could I use a Gallic IFF (Most Likely Iles-De-Frances shipping), but I use Junker ID/equipment?

You'll probably be better off just using a Junker ID. As long as your character has some sort of Gallic background, it should be fine I think.

But I want to make it obvious, with a single glance, that it's gallic. Of course, the tag wouldn't be GRN or GRP. But IDF would be a decent enough tag.

Even then, doesn't the IFF have to match the ID you're using? The best way you could show that you're a Gallic Junker is to have the Junker ID/IFF and fly one of the Gallic civilian ships. It also depends where you plan to operate. An IDF ID would essentially limit you to just Gallic territories, unless that has changed.

Gallic techs limit you to Gallia. And IDF ID would somewhat match Gallic Junker ID.

Granted, ID takes precedence which could help identify you as a Junker with the ID, but an IDF IFF just doesn't seem like it would match up well. I mean, it's the IFF for a lawful shipping corporation. You'd have to ask an admin to see if it's possible.

Still, I think it would be safer to just stick with a Junker ID/IFF and RP as someone of Gallic descent. This issue is one of the reasons why there should probably be Gallic Junker ID, but we can only hope it's on the development list for the next patch.

And most people are the people that matter. Those with half a brain are usually those who don't roleplay anyway, and thus it wouldn't matter either way, they'd still be clueless.
