OORP? Or not?

For a while now, there as been a small number of corsair players...running artifacts to New Tokyo. I have told these small group of players that what they are doing is OORP, and that the Hogosha are responsible for trafficking Artifacts into Kusari. However, these players have defended themselves, stating that "I never agreed to such a thing.", even though they are Corsair. After two weeks after the first incident, the are still trafficking the artifacts, and today, a Corsair Gunboat undocked from New Tokyo and proceeded to Shinjuku Station.

I have told them what they have been doing is OORP, however, there is nothing in the server rules against this blatant disregard of Roleplay.

I do think this is OORP a bit. Doesn't shipping artifacts also sort of go against being allies with the Order?

I wouldn't have thought one or two ships would damage the Hogosha's relationship with the Corsairs. They might even shoot them and it's unlikely much would be said.
Lets face it though, thats what the KNF are for and usually they're good at it.

It is a bit of a Q_Q though.

If they're doing anything that infringes on the hard-fought rights of Discovery citizens then a wee sanction report could be submitted? Other than that, seems you have let them know that you think what they are doing is out of roleplay. So you tried at least. I think.

His question is not constructive in the first place, and doesn't actually ask anything that couldn't have been answered with some thought. There is no need to answer his "question".

You can think it's OORP if you want to. Don't go telling others ingame that it is.
What teh order "Doesn't know" wont hurt them. let THEM challenge any corsairs who do it.

OP has a point though: Corsairs are not supposed to be friendly to Kusari, or dock on those stations. There's KSP missions vs Corsairs, GMG missions against corsairs, etcetera. So yeah, it's about as good rp as liberty rogues docking platet Crete, or Xenos docking with Cambridge. if you want to smuggle artifacts to New tokyo - create a smuggler, hogosha or otherwise. (If the Hogosha want a monopoly, they can always shoot the other smugglers.)

It's oorp in a big way.

If you think it is OORP, post a sanction.

I'm not trying to start a Rage Party or anything just.....I'm a Hogosha player, So I know everything about the Aritfact Deal with the Corsairs....just....OPG shooting Hogosha who arn't transporting food to Crete? Corsairs (just a select group of players, I told them more than once to stop, that it was the Hogosha's territory) who transport artifacts through Kusari Space and dock at New Tokyo....I ran into a slave liner with a Researcher ID carrying Alien organisms,

I got these two idiots...who claim they did nothing wrong....and were yelling at me, wondering why I stopped them.

Im just wondering if there was a rule with OORPness, the only thing I could find was with Weapons and ID, and OORP chatting....

I was just wondering....What do you do with power traders? The Random pilot who just wants to PvP a weaker player? The guys who demand huge sums of money as ransom when their pirating. The guys who have a fleet of ships in formation and only one of them talks to you?

What do you do with the OORPness?
