now bomber has their fancy new bomber guns, but the situation between Fighter and Bomber still haven't improve alot
because " GET AN ESCORT" is not a solution to a cap
now bomber guns can chew through enemy shield and hull alot faster, and has a better hit chance because its refire rate. but fighter killing a bomber still takes time. and
note: i believe most of people can't use MR to hit a bomber, so fighter vs bomber are restricted to guns, normal fighter guns and missiles.
Missile kills bomber pretty efficient when it's in a joust, but in a dog fight, most of them is going to not going to hit because aglity of the bomber, or CM spam, by the time enemy run out of CM, you are pretty much running out of missiles, and the cap you are escorting probably is dead by now.
now, fighter guns, chewing bomber's hull too slowly, in a joust risk of eating enemy bomber SNAC or their 350m/s gun spam, or in a dog fight, your gun won't hit it most of the time if the bomber just keep flying in circles, by the time you kill the bomber, the cap you are escorting is long gone. (with the dps of those bomber guns, a skilled cruiser probably gonna get rape by just 2 below average bomber pilot, or even 1 average-skilled bomber pilot)
solution: decrease bomber's hull strenght, or make them no b/b or increase their size.
this update's bomber are really Tank firepower + car mobility and size + spare part storage room on the ship
may be the ppl in dev team has above average skill level, that's why they think it's balance, or they are just wants bomber to be an almost all-round ship.
