It's one of the first things we learnt when we launched from Manhatten with King in a Flea. Money is Credits. But what is a credit? How much is it? We talkin Pennies or Pounds, Dimes or Dollars?

Well lets find out shal we.

First things First

The current exchange rate of Pounds Sterling to USA Dollars is One Pound for every $1.59

Apologies for not using the pound symbol but the GC forum doesn't seem to like it.

?

...see.

-

Now, since Dscovery's been released alot of the fighters have been buffed to match the durability and whatnot of the Titan/Eagle/Saber. Hence the price has gone up universally. As well as larger trading ships and, of course, capitol ships, the credit was only ever going to inflate.

Now back in the good ole days when that freeport done blown up and battleships didn't fly, the credit was more or less like the pound or dollar, the fair price of a Patrot costing a mere 8000 wing wangs.

Buuuuuuut

The lil' ole liberty fighters been boosted up to 21,900.

Hang on...

It hasn't been improved in any way at all. So that must mean the credit has inflated. Of course the other possibility is that the credit isn't like the pound or dollar in reality. Maybe it's a penny or a nickel?

Alright then. Maths.

Your average VHF, Mr Eagle McEaglington.

Price: 1,928,130

Alright, alright, let's put it to pennies. Drop the currency down two zeros and it looks a little bit like this.

Price: 19,281

This would also drop the Patriot down to 219

Now is that more of a sensible price? A realistic price?

What?, No!?

Ok, so maybe the patriot price was a bit stupid considering a space rocket ain't something you by with pocket money you got from your grandma instead of sweets.

But what are we looking at here people?

Pennies or Pounds.

Sirius credit is sirius credit.

It's the name of the money. The same as dolar has its name. The credit has its name.

And nickle, panny and such is the same dolar/pound/kron and such. Just a part of it.

Would this mean that you can buy justice Mk 1s for five pounds/dollars/whatever?

I would say it would be more realistic to go for $/? 500, also, seeing as a 2 mil ship is usually a top of the line fighter (plus the fact that apparently, according to vanilla roumers, space travel isnt that cheap), i would say its more realistic.

I would say it is its own form of money, not equivalent to any currency on the good old third rock from the sun, Earth.

But I voted the second option for the hell of it.

[17:45:39] Wolfs Ghost (Murphy): Tom, you have problems. Go kill yourself.
[19:25:12] Johnny (Jam): Tomtom, I will beat you with a spoon.
[14:22:56] Prarabdh Thakur: KILL HIM WITH A SHEEP.
[17:40:48] Eagle (Junes): Tom should be slapped with a spoon.
[11:32:18] Warspite: Thank you for being so awesome Tom. <3
[18:17:36] Metano: I love you tomtom
[20:06:24] Warspite: I will seriously give you epic head.

i reckons that they're dollarpounds, cos buying a car can set you back a bunch, so buying a battleship should set you back a whole bunch more

It is a credit, it is not based off any currency. It is a currency itself.

I'd say the dollar. A fighter costs 1-2 mil, right? That's about right. We pay about 10,000 bucks for a good, new car here. So a space ship(Depending on quality) where they are required and produced in mass quantities would be worth about 500K to 1M.
