Gallic Brigands, otherwise known as the Free Brigands of Gallia, is a loosely affiliated union of experienced criminals and other antisocial elements, many of whom are former Police pilots. While Brigands sustain some sort of romantic aura of medieval highway bandits who robbed the rich and gave to the poor, they often do the opposite, robbing smaller shipping companies in favor of larger corporations and their Police protectors.

Brigands are numerous, and in large numbers are a force to be reckoned with; together with Unione Corse, they firmly control all black markets in Gallic space. While the Gallic Brigands avoid political struggle and have no sympathy for the ideals of the Council, it is widely known that they have indirectly assisted Maquis and Council in various operations of the Second Gallic War, including the liberation of Marne

With their new Captain, a former Gallic policeman by the name of Pierre le Picard, the Free Brigands of Gallia have a few goals. Which include and are not limited to the expansion of Brigand terrority into the newly reunited Sirius sector, and to expand their black market influence to the Sirius systems.

Capitaine: The boss, feared and loved by other brigands, holds the right to make and break ties, aswell as other things
Swashbuckler: Experienced Pilot, has proofed himself worthy to the brigands
Pickpocket: Accepted pilot within the Brigands, notorious for small thefts, earned his way in trough this,
Lowlife: Newly recruited criminal, has to be trained by experienced pilots, so that he/she can enter the brigands, betrayal always ends in death,

The Brigands hold several key bases within the Gallic Border worlds.
  1. Narbonne Base in Languedoc. Narbonne is an asteroid base located in the center of the Lozere Field.
  2. Valence Base in Dauphine. Valence was built by Gallic Brigands inside a hollow rock asteroid. While providing backup for usual Brigand activities in the system, it also used as a transit point for Council supplies coming to Languedoc.
  3. Montbard Base in Burgundy. Montbard was built inside a large asteroid in the center of Morvan asteroid field. The base is mainly populated by Gallic Brigands along with their Maquis allies.
  4. Epernay Station in Champagne. A Brigand Ney class station that is well established in in the central part of the Ardennes asteroid field
  5. Hold ports on the liberated planets of Quillan and Marne.

1.) Those who remain behind are left behind.

2.) It is better to be alive than dead. It's also better to bribe than to be captured. Flee from the Royal Navy; attempt to bribe the Royal Police.

3.) If requested to aid in an assault by Council forces, refuse and move about plundering. We do enough for the Council pirating the Royals supply lines.

4.) Do not, under any circumstance, attempt to plunder those that aid us.

5.) Pickpockets and above have say in any and all Brigand affairs.

Changed out the former pictures for better ones, thanks to Entreperneur, updated Ranks, fixed a few spelling errors, and updated roster.

@Thomas your Feature needs alot of work! All I have seen here is you copy the general Layout of a proposal but forgot to add Body. body meaning a good background story and more detail as to the aim of your faction.

@ Dark
:S Les Vampirs were the most powerful and successful brigand faction to date! Although unofficial they once had upto 12 Active Members, they were even more active than GRN| . Power brings enemies thus the lolwutter disco community tryed to tear it apart! Well im afraind that has failed as I have now accumulated the 500 Mill needed to get the Proposal heard. I have payed 2 estabilished RP proof readers to go through the proposal before I Submit an Official Faction Proposal. Les~Vampires has returned from the Dead!

I thank you for the advice, but I know what I'm doing. It's called gradually adding. Since I know you can't read I'll bold the following and make it red for you.

((Not an official request, no money yet, nor do I have enough people.)) So, this isn't a proposal. It's still an "Idea".

Also, if you're going to talk about that, take it to PM's not spam my document.

I aint moaning about how much money you have or members, your ''IDEA'' will not work til your have a Good ''STORY'' so get Typing.

Usually any idea has a story no idea can be assesed til we understand what you are about, just posting a few bits of info wont get you much help or feedback for your idea. As without any history about FBG I could assume you might be Teletubbies in space?????

If someone manages to properly represent their NPC faction, they don't need a super exclusive story. Of course the more someone veers off the NPC faction boundaries, the better story they need.

Edit:
Did I say I like the faction description?

If these humble beginnings are any sign of what this faction may potentially become, I hope it continues. Keep up the good work! I know you can succeed where others have failed.
