Greetings,
I was contacted a few days back by a fellow miner enquiring of the status of our guild. He claimed that in a recent meeting between a BIA craft, he was told by that said craft that the IMG| is now the BIA. Being guildmaster, I naturally reassured him that the guild is not changing and will remain and operate as it is for the foreseeable future.
I would like to ask you to stop these outragous claims to ensure further confusion is avoided. I would also like to ask that you would.. encrypt certain transmissions to certain parties. The IMG is in a particularly precarious position in the Taus with the current war, amongst other things, and the BIA being IMG aligned could jepardise our mining operations should you not be security savvy.
I hope to meet one of your ships in space in the near future. Last time I actively tried to meet a BIA ship at Freeport 4, the vessel moved deep into Rheinland before I could make my way out of the Taus..
I cant believe someone would even SAY that...I mean, we've specifically noted that we are NOT you, only that we help your ships whenever they need it, as well as supplying your bases. But NEVER have we claimed to BE you.
Perhaps I should be more clear. The BIA is an alliance formed when a small section of the IMG* broke off. Our goal is to act more autonomously than the IMG, going insofar as to have a miltant force which we use to patrol and guard our more high value transports. We take in more than mistreated miners...we've taken in old pirates who've been outcast from their groups, some haulers that were leaving in bad conditions...really, anyone whp needs a new start.
