What just happened to Gallia ?!?

Has there been a small change to the NPC situation in Gallia ?

Suddenly Trade there is impossible . Im EFL, and full green to GRN and so on. I have been killed twice in a row now by NPC's who appear en masse ( this is inside Gallian, not council systems) and spam SNAC's at me. Im in a Heavy Transprt - I dont stand a chance , and they have Train CD's by the looks of it too. The last lot got me at the Junction between Briancon Base and The Burgandy Jumpgate in Dauphaine.

Once Im engaged by them- thats it - its over .

Just a few days ago I was quite able to trade in Gallia - now its impossible.

The worst bit it trying to get into Lorraine- you cannot go through Champagne ( instant death is almost gaurnteed as its a council system) So in the past you had to use the JH from Burgandy, but thats even worse now than the Trade Junctions ( where the aforementioned NPC situation is occuring) , maybe 30 Bombers all spamming SNACs greets you on the other side. Not even a reasonable hope of escape, even if you had an escort.

Whats going on! :(

I understand now ! Less Players= More NPC's !!!

No wonder no-one else plays in Gallia

its a shame because its such a nice concept and clearly took alot of work ,but its not being used by many people at all:(

I absolutely love the hardcore NPCs in gallia, it makes it a challenge when no one is there.

Plus, it is the most enjoyable thing to watch some OORP powertrader getting pwnt by 4 cougars who can spam SNACs like justices.

when its high, you can do your normal route

If I'm correct, EFL uses the "Aurochs" freighter or the "Vache" Gallic train, not the Sirian heavy transport... so if I'm correct, it is OORP.

And Gallia is not the wasteland you would believe... perhaps you've just been fortunate enough not to run into the Council capital ships (it seems they only fly those things) or the patrols the GRN organize almost every night.
