Need some advice on new ship for Angelfire character.

Righto.

A very short summary of the Angelfire story:

He was a Trader that was in the Rheinland Navy (RepEx BT) that was a Wilde that was experimented on by the Corsairs who captured him and trained him but lost him to the Nomads who tried to kill him but ended up communicating with him becuase it wasnt really them but someone manipulating their weapons.

Now Angelfire is in Alaska attempting to establish contact with Liberty and Order who both see him as hostile but might have answers to who is manipulating the Nomad weaponry.

The Nomads view him as a temporary agent (ally) who will find the source of the experimentation and manipulation on their kind.

He doesnt necessarily like them much, but they will help him find answers...

Thus:

(With justifying RP)

He'll need a Cruiser Class Vessel. (Angelfire will be hunted by every other imaginable ship class, so I reckon a Cruser will give me at least a fighting chance.)

Some kind of Nomad Tech involved.

Something that the Nomads could procure for a human. ( Idont see a human in a nomad ship).

Bare in mind, it's a temporary chapter in his adventures so whatever he flies will eventually change.

Appreciate any thoughts/Suggestions.

LFs can survive longer that Cruisers. Get one instead. I am sick of that "everyone will want to kill me so I want a bigger ship" bull. I have a "terrorist" in a Kingfisher, ffs.

Also , a Cruiser seems a bit too much. Maybe a gunboat? A Zoner one? That seems neutral and easily acquirable. Just say you hijacked it or tricked a salesman or whatever. Don't really know who your character is, so I can't tell which alternative suits best.

Hmmm, seems you've mentioned every man and his dog in that short summary. But anyway, I would suggest something that the nomads would be able to salvage for you, if you are saying the nomads are giving you a ship.

Zoner Corvo, Geb, Corsair Cruiser, Liberty Siege Cruiser, any cruiser class ships in the nomad regions.

Edit: I mean this by, you'll handle most fighters easily and can run from bigger fish.

House VHF/Bomber with nomad weapons? That way you can explain how you're going to infiltrate Houses like the nomads did in vanilla story.

Good idea, I was thinking along those lines but with one or two Nomadic toys to justify their equpping him.

What I want here is a case of him trying to reason with Order and LN ships but looking too much like the enemy. This way, only special chatarcters from those factions would actually talk to him, the rest would have KOS policies.

I don't really enjoy PvP but I enjoy the presence of power or malice in this character.

So far the Scorpion looks like a great idea but I'll keep listening if more ideas come in.
