Planetform Incorperated is a small Bretonian firm that's leading in it's field of terraforming and planetary environment altering throughout Sirius. Recieving most of it's funding from the Bretonian Government; Planetform, Inc is the largest scientific research investment made by any Governance in Colonial History. So far Planetform Incorperated has begun Planetary Terraforming stages at a number of locations throughout Sirius, and has many terraforming contracts from both the Liberty and Bretonian governments to date.
History
[color=#FF9966]The Idea
Planetform was first thought up by a collection of California and Cambridge scientists in roughly 500 A.S. with the wild ambition to turn desolate uninhabitable worlds into flourishing hives of Human life within 400 years. Bretonian Parliament showed interest in the research in hopes of a positive outcome to counter the Leeds pollution confrontation that was stirring into a social crisis. The unlikely possibility of a Kusari shipment of alien organisms being shot down near Planet Harris in the Tau 31 system was the nudge Planetform needed. The Alien life-forms that survived began to flourish on the desolate rock, consuming the rocky terrain and excreting the waste as Oxygen and Carbon Dioxide gas. The use of Alien Organisms in terraforming spawned a grail of oppertunities and after almost fifty years of research funded by the Bretonian Government, Planetform was eventually given it's first contract to Terraform Planet Harris. Using it's funding, the small group of scientists and physicists invested into directions that would pull the project into the corporate world. By 575 A.S. Cantebury station was constructed as Planetforms base of operations. Planetform itself was now being recognised as an independent Bretonian firm regaurdless of it's Government dependencies.
Horizons
Thinking of the advantages in a blank canvas, the Liberty Government was quick to see the potential in Planetform's proven potentials; and before long a contract was settled for Planetform to begin Terraforming on California Minor, a small desolate world out in the far reaches of the California system. The Planet was originally considered unfit for Terraforming, however the Liberty Government was already bought by Planetform's bright horizons and insisted the project went forward. This was surely the golden age of Planetform's success as money was rolling in from all directions, allowing the firm to purchase a sizable fleet to supply it's operations. Both Rheinland and Kusari were now searching the depths of their space for potential locations suitable for Terraforming in hopes of staying in the race for the most developed house. However few contracts were recieved from the other two houses, and from those that were requested none passed the qualifications for a successful Terraforming operation.
Complications
For many years Planetform relied on it's Government contracts in order to maintain their operations on both Harris and Minor. The recently discovered Edinburgh system also posed new oppertunities into business and development. The discovery of Planet Gaia by the Cambridge Research Institute sparked an unlimited potential in development and tourism, however it was Orbital Spa & Cruise that was to get first pickings when they stationed their Liner Shetland in the Planet's orbit. Planetform was denied access to the Planet's surface with the intentions of developing civilised and corporate interests by both the Institute and the Gaians; an ecological terrorist group that spawned around the year 750. Planetform had to settle for what was left and was commissioned to begin the Terraforming of Planet Ayr by the Bretonian Government. Dissapointing as it may have seemed, it was a blessing in disguise for the Planet Harris operation that was determined to be ready for settlement alot later than expected in 820. The operation there has been stalled in Phase III for some time due to the Gaian Terrorist's actions against Planetform Transports and Bases. The Harris project had run out of Government funding around 780 and required corporate funding to continue the operation. But thanks to the most recent Ayr contract, Planetform now had the appropriate funding to continue their Harris operation despite the intentions of the money in the first place. Planetform now had the oppertunity to test a few of their theoretical Phase I processes on Planet Ayr that involved intricate explosive techniques on asteroids in deep orbit, As well as trying their new compounds of PFC's that were suggested to be 9000 times more potent that CO2; Planetform research and method was at it's peak and rising.
Within recent times Planetform has been put under increased pressure from all directions. The Bretonian conflict in the Taus put them out of business with Kusari, and with the latest stalemate in Leeds, The Ayr project has lost it's primary sources of Organisms and Gases on Stokes and Glasgow. The conflict also carved the Planetform charter in two. With the Armed Forces strongly holding out at Planet Harris, yet another setback has been added to the list on the Harris project's schedule. Planetform has been forced to opt for the more indirect route through a Jump Hole in Edinburgh that's now swarming with Gaian Eco-Terrorists. After some deliberation in 816, Liberty commissioned Planetform to construct Cold Bay depot in Hudson Orbit in a hurry to claim the system. This project biased them slightly onto one side in yet another war they were to find themselves in the midst of. But with Planet Minor soon being handed over to Synth Foods, the firm needed another contract to keep themselves level. So the contract was signed and shortly afterward in 817 Cold Bay was functioning as a Pre-Phase depot.
Planetform Incorperated is now plowing through these troubled and difficult times; still reliant on it's government contracts, it's still seeking throughout the Sector for Terraforming potential and survival from the wars that's tearing Sirius apart.

Bretonia
Planetform takes an allied position alongside the Bretonian Parliament and it's nationalised affilates. The corporation holds less of a familiar relationship with Bretonia's independent corporations such as BOWEX and Gateway Shipping, but is happy to accomodate vessels from those firms.
Criminals groups such as the Mollys and Gaians are directly hostile to Planetform and the Bretonian Parliament, and thus Planetform Security and Shipping pilots are given authorisation to attack pirate vessels that fall under this banner at any given time. Junkers offer possible advantages to Planetform and thus aren't viewed entirely as a threat, although pilots and captains are prewarned to stay wary of these individuals.
Kusari
The threat Kusari forces pose to the Harris project in Tau 31 is a dangerous one and so all Kusari forces and their affiliatres are considered hostile if not unfreindly to the firm. Pilots are not directed to openly engage Kusari forces unless provoked or requested by BAF or BPA individuals. Kusari corporates in Bretonia space are ignored but reported to local authorities when possible.
GMG Affiliated individuals are considered neutral to Planetform Incorperated as they pose no direct threat.
Rheinland
The Rheinland Reichstag and it's affiliates are considered valuable partners in supplying Planetform projects with Fertilisers and thus is kept at a neutral/friendly stance. Rheinland unlawfuls allied directly with the Red Hessians are considered hostile to the firm. Any criminal activity should be reported to local authorities when possible.
Liberty
Although waging war with our other colonial partners we stress an entirely neutral/friendly relationship with both houses involved in the Bering/Hudson conflicts. Liberty has proven to be a valuable partner in funding Planetform Inc. in it's Minor and Atka projects. The Liberty government and it's affiliates pose a neutral/friendly relationship with Planetform Inc. at this time. Liberty Unlawful factions which include the Liberty Rogues, Lane Hackers and Xenos are considered directly hostile to the firm.
Other
Independent Factions such as the IMG and the Zoners are considered completely neutral to Planetform. The IMG and Planetform have exchanged potential terraforming contracts in the past which are currently on hold until the Tau conflicts can be resolved.
Criminal factions known as the Outcasts and Corsairs are considered directly hostile to Planetform
Terrorist Factions known as the Sirius Coalition Revolutionary Army and The Phantoms are also considered Hostile.

1. Captain
A Captain is the lowest rank amongst the Shipping class. However it doesn't change the vitality of that person to the company. Captains are needed to man Planetform's shipping vessels that run all the vital materials and equipment we need to our Projects and Operations. Captains are viable to claim funding (should they need it) from HQ to purchase a capable shipping vessel. This funding will max out to a total of 30 million credits.
Allowed Ships: Transport, Large transport, Train, Large Train, Adv. Train, Percheron, Clydesdale, Armored Transport
Veterans are the top dogs of our security division. They've shown the appropriate skill and capability in space to protect each Planetform convoy with proffessionalism and efficiency. This rank is awarded alongside the choice of a Havok MkII, Virage or Waran Bomber in addition to any other vessel in the allowed list. Veterans may claim an extra optional 10% bonus on each shipment if they choose, totting up to a 30% share in each run.

The pilots are the vangaurd of our corporation. All pilots hired by Planetform Inc are sure to be treated with care and courtesy as they risk life and limb every day for the company's continuance. Shippers must donate at LEAST 20% of their profit to any pilot(s) that happen to escort them. It is not an option for the shipper as to weather a pilot escorts them or not. Money spent on security is better than money spent on Criminals. Pilots are also offered funding to purchase a vessel of their choice; within Planetform Rules and Regulations; should they require it. Funding for new pilots maxes out to 15 million credits.

Sure! This thing looks frikkin sweet.
What would be fighter : transport ratio and what do you guys usually move around? I know planetform has some sucky routes, I'm wondering will you stick with them?
As for how many fighters to transports we have, we can't really predict the numbers of applicants we will be recieving.
But, on trade convoys, dependant on the danger level. I would have at least 1 Fighter every 2 transports at all times if possible. More if the transports are on a dangerous route.
As for the trade routes, you'll have to quiz the director of shipping about them.
I just hope you keep the number of fighters down, I mean.. I hope I'll still encounter more traders from Planetform than people with guns zooming around without traders.
Thats why I shy away from trading corp escorts. They tend to get bored and roam around ^^
Yes, I always prefer more transports too, as that is the core of the trading faction.
As you can see, we have about 5 transports and 1 security person at the moment.
We are hopefully soon to become offical so then we can increase our numbers of both pools
We will always concentrate on having more of a trading/terraforming group flying around, rather than 5 fighters looking to kill someone...
And as for what we haul, we will try to stick with the gaian wildlife to cold bay and back to perth one. (you thought i was going to tell you all the details? hehe)
If you or anyone else has any questions, feel free to ask!

...
Yez plox.
Now on a more serious note:
I pretty much look forward for meeting you guys on game! Bretonia seems pretty much like single player right now, and the only traders I find are F1 lolwutters... Seriously, I'm even setting up a gunship and a bomber for that... *grins* AND DON'T EVEN TRY TO SMUGGLE GAIAN WILDLIFE ON MY WATCH!
