Modern Warfare 2 - No party chat feature!?

It seems that Infinity Ward may remove the ability for players to play while in party chat on the multiplayer mode.

Why? Cheating it would seem. But here is the article all the same:

While I agree there needs to be anti-cheating, but removing party chat is going to be very annoying for me, I like to chat to my mates across different games, which is what the party chat is designed for. :unsure:

It has been confirmed that you can NOT Party Chat in all Modern Warfare 2 Multiplayer Playlists. You may still Party Chat in these Playlists however:

* Mercenary Team Deathmatch
* Free-For-All
* Third Person Teams

Here is a list of the Playlists you may not Party Chat in:

* Domination
* Ground War
* Demolition
* Sabotage
* Headquarters Pro
* Search & Destroy
* Hardcore Search & Destroy
* Capture The Flag
* Team Deathmatch
* Hardcore Team Deathmatch
* Third Person Cagematch

hardcore search and destroy with party chat isn't really hardcore any more. makes it way too easy, even doing a 1 on 1 chat did.

anyway wont you still be able to talk to everyone on your team normally?

Modern Warfare 2 is a Game Im Highly Interested in but also dont want to get it.

No more Dedicated Servers
No more Mod Tools
No LAN it seems You have to go through IW.NET.
No Command Console now?
Not even Lean? Because it imbalanced gameplay? wtf? It was in CoD4 and Cod:WaW on Console and PC and it worked fine. Guns were imbalanced not the game mechanics.

The PC Version is Delayed Indefinitly. But they have a X360 Version that works on PC.
