Underway on the Battleship Gettysburg location out Planet Erie in Pennsylvania.
A ball for all Liberty Navy and Liberty Security Force. Hosted by the Gettysburg
the goal of the ball is to get to know your fellow pilots and commanders.
With live music during the course of the entire ball. It is advised that you wear
Liberty Formal Uniforms.
One of the first ships to arrive for the event is the Liberty Navy Support Dreadnought
Fort Wenatchee. Her crew dressed in Opaline White uniforms. Commodore
Lady Serena Cross wearing a dress while 2nd in Command Sir Stewart
Masterson wears a 3 piece suit. The only crew in the Liberty Navy not
wearing the traditional blue colors of Liberty.
Other ships are advised to use transport vessels and land there ships on
Planet Erie to reduce traffic in the system.
An Upholder and an Avenger land on Gettysburg. The pilots are COmmander Zack Archer of Task Force Iota and LSF AGent Kei Nagase. Zack takes Kei's arm. When theya rrive, they move to a table. Zack requests a soda while Kei gets a bottle of Liberty Ale
"I cant belive you dragged me here Zack."
"Hey, you look great. And we both need a break."
"Fine. Lets dance."
Zack grins. He takes Kei and they begin to Dance. They both look out for thier friends.
Jack Norris relaxed in the comfortable transport headed to the Ball. It was a troop transport, retrofitted for comfort. He was talking with an attractive Liberty Navy gal, boasting about kills and sharing stories. There was a slight jostle as the mooring lines attached with the battleship. Jack promised to find her later and buy her a drink and a dance.
The Liberty Navy and Liberty Security filed off to different areas, before mingling again later on. Jack made sure his navy-blue and white tuxedo was clean, checked his cuffs, and entered the main ballroom.
As the commanders of Fort Wenatchee left the dance floor going else where
Grace, navigation commander of the ship, along with the rest
of the crew got to dancing and just having fun. Rarely has
there been large balls such as this.
Grace and Stephanie, flight deck commander, after dancing decided to
sit together at a table in the corner.
Grace: What do you think they're talking about back there?
Stephanie: I don't know but lets not worry about it, lets just
have some fun!

haveing been in a port tour for 3 days ,Captian James Patterson was relived o just beable to relax,upon browseing the comms channels he had discovered the ball and now in his formal (and highly decorated) "gold and black dress"denoteing him ground forces wih an LSF patrch on his sholders had taken this chance to mingle with some of his comrades he wa sipping a martini and he knew the wentachees commander had seen him,he simply nodded to the man and smiled" as a young female officer from the wentachee walked by..the military had perks and this was one of them "and such is liufe" jim replyed to nobody as he grabed another Martini. his augmented biochips would drasticly reduce the effects f liquor ,as he saw sevral vip commanders rush off the hair on the back of his neck stood up ,but he ignored it for if LIberty needed him ,they would of contacted him
A Grizzly Freighter Moored with the Gettysburg, A young man stepped out of the Airlock, he sighed heavily as the Freighter Disengaged moor and left, he stood there for a few minutes before he making his way towards where the ball was being held.
He looked around to see a bunch of people dancing and 'Mingling' He moved over to a vacant table. and sat down watching everyone, He didn't recognize any one. He quickly got up and left the ball room.
jimmy had finished his martini and alltho he notieced the man he ignored him if there was a threat he would know and tho he looked unarmed he had his vest on under his dress uniform and he had his ankle pistol,along with a scanner proof knife and micro-computer the computer being around his wrist,it was commen but his gear was "stealthed out" due to his job which the guard had known when they saw the delta patch on his dress blacks he felt them watching him he felt everyboduy watching him,it wasent offten you saw a geound forces dress-clad officer on a Naval warship at a ball add to the fact that unlike everyone here he was alone which he prefered haveing not got close to anyone after isabelle and him decided to "break it off" and after admrial porter had."resigned her comission" so abruptly stil lif you looked closely at him under the chissled well muscled exterior of a caree soldier you saw a broken,lonely man with nothing to lose you also saw a more darker feel to him
The young man returned to the Ball room. he looked to where he was located before to see a group of officers there, he sighed as he moved towards the wall then turning towards the middle of the Ball room. He glanced out across the room looking down at his database console that was attached to his forearm. He spotted Jim and a few officers from the crew of the Wenatchee mingling with each other, he smiled as he kept his eye on Jim looking at him every now and then.
