I believe Cannon (or someone in charge of server-type stuff) said something along the lines of, "Don't worry, your characters are safe and sound," regarding the server problems.

I haven't been around for like 3 weeks, will it get wiped? I just want to be sure. I tried refreshing my characters yesterday but apparently the server is being divided by zero.

Getting rid of it would cause the server to fill up with useless lvl5 characters that played for 3 minutes before deciding their girlfriend was more interesting.:)

I say run the program to clean up underlevel characters with one month's grace, stepping up the timespan with the level of the character.

I would hate to see my Maelstrom deleted because I left it in dry dock for a month while scavenging resources to fix it.
