[KoF] ideas for future

While the server is down I've been trying to think of where the King of Freight organisation would be 5 years from now and attempt to tie that in with roleplay towards the 4.86 storyline that Iggis is developing for the future.
Hopefully the Organisation will be doing well and be very profitable. Ships will have improved to combat the threat coming from continued pirate attacks. Our 2 bases in Minnesota will be flourishing and improvements made.
Our contacts across most of Sirius will find us new trade routes and improve our standing reputation with other friendly factions, one faction bug that annoys me is that the Junkers appear red to us [KoF]ers.
I'm thinking we make an agreement of some kind with the Junkers and at least become neutral with them.
Another strange one is the Corsair pirates who show as green friendly on my rep list.
So friendly in fact that it would be possible to land on Crete and buy Corsair weapons. (I wouldn't dare obviously)
This anomaly is because we are hostile to Outcasts Hackers and Liberty Rogues and so the Corsairs like us.
This really should change I have been pirated by Corsair faction people and they are green, this should change.
I have thrown some other ideas in here to see what you guys think.

How about a small gas miner rented by us so that we are self sufficient in Oxygen and water at St.Paul. And of course the gas miner has cleared away some of the cloud cover between St.Paul and Duluth shipyard making it possible for part of a trade lane to be built.

How about we buy a BioDome near St.Paul base and produce our own food.

How about we build a space dock and repair bay next to our Shipyard at Duluth.

How about a weapons and research agreement with Liberty Navy towards the building of a new "Q-Ship" design to combat attacks by pirates. A Transport with stronger hull and improved power and maybe 5 or 6 gunboat turrets. Sacrificing half of it's cargo capacity in the process.
I have been read about Armed Merchant Cruisers as well. The heroic story of the SS.Jervis Bay versus the Admiral Scheer pocket battleship 1939 is about true bravery in the face of overwhelming odds.

How about a trade agreement with somone in Gallia (Council) so that we can do some real trading there.

How about a diplomatic peace mission to Rheinland to end the hostilities,
either that or go the whole opposite way and Liberty declares war and commodity prices change drastically as a result.

How about a trade agreement with the IMG and/or the =CR= and/or the GMG guys up in the Tau and Sigma systems.

How about a new Jump Hole discovered in Minnesota or Quebec or New Hampshire, where would it lead to?
Sigma-17 maybe or Newcastle or somewhere else. New trade routes possibly?

Any other ideas or feedback?

That is most likely because you've shot outcasts, and that raises your corsair rep. not because the corsairs like you.

perhaps the GMG will set one up for you. That would be intresting.

Is it profitable to build a biodome?

It would also be nice to see a lawful version of the salvage frigate.

i think that the council would be willing to let you ship them supplies in return for some gallic goods. I suggest opening negotiations with them.

Liberty and rheinland are already at war, and will remain at war for quite a while. you would end up getting shot if you tried to go to rheinland

The IMG may be willing to make deals with you, but dont expect to deal with both the GMG, and IMG.

I think that a new jump hole like that has been discussed, and voted down. Mainly because it would royally mess up the trading system.

I never really faced the KoF as "hostile", really. Anyways, if you want to improve on your relationship with the Junkers (which would be weird for a corporation to do, really), you should talk to the Arbiters of the .:j:. or Taffic (or whoever is in charge now) of the Trafalgar Junkers if you are going for something more local and in Bretonia.

How could you improve your relations with the Junkers? Well, it depends really. Seeing as you are a lawful corporation, I pretty much doubt that you would resort to us for smuggling your inexistent illegal goods. If you are on the shipbuilding business , you could always strike a supply deal for recycled shipbuilding materials or something.

Because the entirety of Sirius know they exist, especially a Liberty based corporation who as far as I can tell spends hardly any time out that way.

You'd be better off choosing something with a little risk to it. Maybe cashing in with the Liberty Navy and funding their war effort or something.

It May not Neccesarily be Profitable to build a Biodome, Unless you cant get food some other way. Plus, you have Permits and all that.......
