That is correct.
In my experience you should trust roughly 0% of anything your fellow community members have to tell you about any subject. Divide that value by 0 if you understand that they frequent any of the chans.
this may have came from some of the older wordings on the rule...
when it was introduced, it said that each battleship must have a battleship license - but it did not say that there was only one battleship allowed per player
however, it was written somewhere that only one license was allowed per player - which resulted in only one battleship ( call it overcomplicated )
so that players said that - yes, you can have a license on a non battleship, but then, you must not fly a battleship anymore, cause you have spent your license on a non battleship.
all that is void now anyway, cause you can have as many battleships as you like - so you can also have as many licenses as you like. - which means you can mount it on your transport and still fly a battleship ( provided you have another license of course )
