i have a Raven's Talon fighter, is that compatable with the Liberty police ID? it's listed on Wiki as IMG/Civilian... IMG isn't allowed, but civilian is

It is allowed yes, not standard issue, but no one will stop you.


Almost any ID can use the Ravens Talon.

Of course, if you're planning to join the LPI player faction I wouldn't try this.

but as an indie it should be fine, as long as you're using Libertonian weapons on it.

I heard the kingfisher was a pile of poo. VHF Maneuverability, HF firepower and core.

I've pottered about in a Kingfisher a bit. It seems to handle smoothly enough, and performed decently against a Roc. On top of that, it has 6 class 9 guns - and since I rarely ever use codes, that's as good as VHF firepower for me. Regen on the powercore is 200 u/s less than an Eagle, so you do need to be careful not to waste shots.

thanks gang, i guess i'll stick to being inde... i have a freelancer tag, but got saddled with a police ID from doing police missions. easiest fix i could think of is switching to police ID.

even if i don't join the player faction?

basicly, i'm out of code, with a freelancer tag mounted, and a police ID tag on my name. will i be compliant if i mount a police ID, but still keep my ship?

sorry for being a noob, but i don't quite know all the nuances of the rules yet.:D
