Heya guys,
I havent used FLAM for windowing for a while now but I want to get it going for reasons of my own. Since the Server got moved the IP has changed, which requires you to put an extra line in your main shortcut path. The problem with this is that FLAM doesnt use the shortcut, I believe it links the main executable which I dont know how to modify to accomodate the new IP. I looked through the FLAM readme and I think there is a method in which to change this but I, again dont have the skills neccessary to do this.
If anyone can help me with this that would be great.

If it's only about the windowed mode, just add -w to basic shortcut.

Also, have you tried to guide FLAM to the allready existant shortcut instead of the exe file? Maybe that would help, if it can be done

FLAM cant be guided like most executable driven peripherals. It is coded to only use the direct executable. Although in the readme it says you can mess with this via commands in a certain mode which doesnt seem to exist in the program.

-w does work, but the program doesnt continue feeding video whilst I'm doing other things, I believe FLAM did that when i used it last

Are you really this lazy?

Open FLAM.
Switch accounts.
Go to your desktop/start menu and select the shortcut you made already.

Jeez. It's not that hard, really.

I dont think you understand my problem, or I dont understand what you mean. Read and try again.

Mmmkay. Perhaps I am misunderstanding.
I thought your problem with FLAM was that the link to FL doesn't work for Disco now? Because of the -IP line.

Alas, I've never launched FL via FLAM so i dunno what that does. I've always done it in the way I described.

Once you have used FLAM to change accounts you can use the standard short cut to launch FL (with whatever parameters you like) . All FLAM does is change a couple of Registry values.

Thats what i do, it works.

Use normal shortcut that you have on desktop with all parameters you want and use it.
I use FLAM only to switch acc, i don't run FL from there.

When adding more then 1 parameter dont forget space

"location on harddrive" -dx -w -s(IP)

like that

this is cool signature
