Following the guidelines found in the forum decided to do the following topic to get help and opinions on the creation of our faction.

We are a group comprised mostly of Brazilians who love the Discovery Freelancer mod.

We really want to continue playing together and we need to formalize our faction, among other reasons:

Most of our players do not speak English and keep them in the same faction facilitates communication of orders and rules.

Our most fun is to do missions together and when necessary to keep the peace in Gamma especially in Skiros and Tripoli.

We want to create a story that takes into account the communication barrier, keeping the fun of RP. In this respect, welcome opinions.

The help I ask is for those who are willing to make corrections of the translations of our history to English.

Hmm, I suggest getting into talks with the locals, I think its SOB and Ghost of Razgriz? Or something around there. My memory of that region is very vague.

All in all, talk to the locals and see if they can expand your knowledge and get friendly with them, leading to more involvement in events and action.

By the way, what is your faction's goal in Sirius?

So far all I've seen of the L.O.S.T are lots of Capital Ships.

Tag could be less of an eyesore and easier to type too like 'LOST|'

Could grow into a- Owai- Don't become the HAF, or what they used to be, look at their early history, and work on not being that.

HAF got better, you can skip ahead and start better.

And that I'm afraid rather cans the entire idea straight off the bat. It goes against the principles and rules of
The Discovery Server. How on earth do you expect to roleplay here ?

First off: Learn some english.

Second: Talk to the The Brotherhood (TBH) and the Black Sails, or Sails, these guys are experienced Corsair RP'ers, they can help you out.

Lastly: Get rid of your capships, in fact, only have something like 1 capship in a shared account. Rest of you's get a fighter or a bomber.

I see that most comments are more critical than constructive.

Simply say "learn a little English" not helpful.

We live in a globalized world where the language should not be reason to discriminate.

We just have to thank the server administrators.

Everything has a price and administrators do not charge anything for us to play here and still spend much of their time worrying about minor issues taken by those who can not play.

I agree with the excellent suggestion given to reduce the name to LOST.

The history of the faction have no problem with his creation, but only to spell in English.

Therefore, we request the cooperation in the correct translation into the official language of the server.

So we will avoid overloading the admins to read something with many language errors.

This is a server where English is the language used. This is not discrimination, its just a rule, and it is not going to be changed. If you don't like it play on some other server. There are Disco servers all over the world, with different languages used. Do they discriminate us for not speaking their language?

And besides this is a private server. Play by the rules or don't play at all. I am sorry but that's just how things are.

And for the L.O.S.T. faction's RP. Well it isn't very good. The other day I was landing on Crete, trying to RP with you guys (and there were like 3 Legate's outside of Crete, what a beautiful way to waste resources for the Corsairs), and you didn't even try to RP back. And writing in uppercase letters all the time hurts my eyes.

What to do to make this better?

First off: Learn some english.

Second: Talk to the The Brotherhood (TBH) and the Black Sails, or Sails, these guys are experienced Corsair RP'ers, they can help you out.

Agreed. Take these advices and you should be fine.
