Like the title says we need a new section, probably best put in Discovery HQ Section. The RP/PvP rules as well as the forums rules all in one easily found section that will be right on the main board.

...Can't you just make one, Lord Moderator?

Unfortunately, no. I am but mere moderator in Role-playing and a little dabble in Flood.

Thats a good idea, keep everything in one little place for all the new people to open and find.

Why are they needed, the rules are stickied to the top of the Sections of their respective servers. people just need to go and read them. It's just clarification of rules some people need, that's all.

He's talking about a definitive set whose perogative overrides everything, out in a place where it it physically impossible to miss them. People have to do a bit of digging when they find things, and some of us aren't so good at that.

I agree that putting the rules in the open is a good idea. When I joined Discovery, I didn't read them for several weeks until I found a link to them in the faction creation rules.

And that's why it needs to be in huge lettering on the front page.

I think its a good idea to have them all in one place for easy access.

Yea sounds like a good idea to me.

When I first joined I never read the rules (and never did so till after my recent break) but there are so many rules now that it is important to read them to avoid breaking them so putting them in a clearly visable place would help alot.

Could even make it so if you select the web page from google the rules come up before you get to the actual forums but that might be a bit much.

I've been mildly miffed by one-shot weapons since their implementation, oh so long ago. I remember the days when fights were a matter of who could aim better, rather than who could aim a single shot. - Virus
