Somethings been bothering me about this F1 thing...

Not the rule itself, mind you (think its fair for people not wantin to face the lillies) - but in my case.

Having a major common.dll problem, and still trying to fix it. It causes my Freelancer to crash to my desktop, meaning I have to restart my Freelancer.

Here's the question : What if I'm in a fight and this problem comes afoot - will I be fined for F1ing ??

Pardon me for being cynical, but I see a lot of people 'crash to desktop' in the most convenient time like lost shields or nearly dead.

You can always try to convince us that you really crashed but how many times would we believe? In the most crucial moment I mean... You stay for 10 seconds more ingame since you hit 'select new character' or 'select new server'.

If the stars should appear one night in a thousand years, how would men believe and adore and preserve for many generations the remembrance of the city of God? - from 'Nightfall' by I. Asimov
The Outcasts consider Siniestre Nube a sacred place for several reasons. Early explorers discovered a jumphole within the depths of the cloud that leads to a strange world of ringed stars and strange craft. All ships in the burrial ground are placed facing that hole to honor the Alien Spirits. - An Outcast rumor

I'll take that as a yes...

Keep in mind, it haven't happened yet, just worried - it happens about 2-4 times per night...

...you don't perhaps know how to fix this irritation ??

Not a definite 'yes' as much as a very possible 'yes'.

Anyway, least complication would be to re-download the mod and reinstall/reactivate it.

That's the thing, I already did... twice.

I think I might need some sort of Register Search & Fix program, I just cannot find a shareware version of one...
