Thanks to Jinx and his beautiful skill of understanding what I want in mere two private messages and being able to create it in matter of days.

Kishiro Technologies is proud to present their answer to the Kusari war effort cry for materials. As our demand for materials have brought us to Leeds and even Dublin, the Hegemon mining ship with it's bulky design, low crew accommodations and it's Gajin origin was simply not able to display the force of Kusari in and behind the enemy lines.

Working on this ship in extreme secrecy, the Kishiro has zealously kept it's presence undercover in fear of corporate espionage, or worse - actual theft of prototype.

The ship differs from Hegemon in few things, first is the actual design of the ship, what reflects on every other thing. Kishiro intended this ship for Kusari and Kusari use only. Having this ship to fall in hands of the enemies is simply something that cannot be done.
With much more slim design the Noboru is longer than Hegemon but not prone to as much impacts as Hegemon receives in the mining field, allowing this ship a quicker getaway when all the hell breaks loose.
Slim design forces some drawbacks, such as smaller cargo space and somewhat harder turning force but the extended crew quarters allow this ship to remain in the system as long as it takes - even after the mission is done.

Ship is equipped with the state of the art Kishiro mining and filtration system starting from the dragon head shaped tractor system that then pushes the ore trough the ships' filtration system only to store it in the containers in the back protected by the solar wings, typical for Kusari design. Releasing the filth part of the ore it takes in the ship contributes to system pollution. Finally thanks to the Kishiro technologies, all the sounds hegemon produced are ancient history.

Ship Class Transport
Built by Kishiro Technologies
Technical information
Guns/Turrets 2 / 8
Opt. weapon class 7
Max. weapon class 7
Additional equipment 1xCD 1xCM
Hull strength 130,000
Max. shield class 7
Cargo space 2,400 units
Nanobots/Batteries 600/600
Max. impulse speed 80 m/s
Max. thrust speed 140 m/s
Power output 60,000 u
Power recharge 6,000 u/s

These are some stats I have out, however, I would really like people's input here as I am not so experienced with balancing the ships.
Basically I would like this ship to have some guns along with the turret spots, since it is heading out to enemy lines. Perhaps it should lose a CD, but I really hope it will sail trough the ore fields smoother than Hegemon will.

It is intended for Kusari usage only, so it is not a generic ship, far from it. It would be unthinkable for Kusari to actually allow anyone to use something like that and eventually turn it against them. I am sorry folks, but I do not think that Kishiro would issue a ship for a civilian use anyway. This is solely to fuel the war effort, and with the way this ship is built, it is doing exactly that.

Looks more like a Samura-Ship, dont you think?
Its too aggressieve for Kishiro, and Samura does have Gasmining operations.

Err, well it look actually more like a longrange Yacht, than anykind of an industrial vessle.

And the dragon head has spark plugs to ignite the gas stored in the rear?

FLAMETHROWERERRR! YAY!

The only bug i have about it is the dragon head. Ornamentation overdose imo.

The design does look awesome, just one little thing ... What's with the gimmicky dragon head on the front, seriously? I'm sorry, but it's hard to take the ship seriously like that. It's not freelancer-ish at all.

I also have a tiny little problem with he concept itself. Unless the next step is to create specific mining ships for each house, wouldn't it make things a little ... unfair? Look at it this way: Every house has its freighter, its low level transport and its supertransport. The Hegemon was used universally, so things remained even ship-wise.

Third point: The stats also made raise my eyebrow ... in a bad way. With 2 guns and 7 turrets it has a significant firepower. Now, this would be fine, if not for it's CD. Large cargo plus significant firepower plus Cruise Disrupters makes it the perfect pirating ship. If the ship is restricted to lawful only then it wont be a problem, but if not I can already sense the powerpirates joining the Hogosha/FA by the truckload...

Kishiro has gas mining operations as well, the ships to GMG are the proof, and I dont know why does it look like Samura ship when two most recognizable things are from Kishiro ship line. How do you people see Kishiro? :/

Either way, the head idea stays as an ornament and a bonus thing, perhaps it will make more sense to you fully textured.
I think that it's a nice break from Hegemon mainly and perhaps an nudge for other houses to create one of their own as well?

to AJ: I don't think Hogosha or FA could get a hand on this ship since it would be stealing. The CD is just a proposal. As I said, I am not very experienced in ship balance and I will leave it to someone more experienced and to forum as whole. As for the Dragon head, I think that the angle of the first picture is giving you a bad idea of how will it look

EDIT: I am defending it too much, I'll let you comment now.

little design explanation:

the prominent dragon head... - cause i am lazy, it is of course the same head used on the emperors personal cruiser ( just larger ) - it is just a traditional chinese dragonhead. - and it does fit the ship.

it is also FLish for what its worth. take a look into the bar interiors around sirius and the hangars.... not rarely you d see sculptors much larger than most ships as decorations. - gargoyles in bretonia, eagles in liberty, gothic ornaments in rheinland and funny masks in kusari.

about such a ship...

it should be made crystal clear that it must NOT be used by unlawfuls... besides, hardly any unlawful can afford to maintain such a ship. - kishiro might, cause they ll pay for prestige as well... but hogosha flying around with a ship ornamented like a kingly palace ( and cause of that costing four times the maintenance ...? ) - i don t think so.

the final model ( skinned ) will colour most of the ship in the typical bronze colour, the dragonhead in a rough iron ( grey ) and the rear of the ship ( storage tanks ) in the generic utility style.

FA/Hoggies have the Raba, so they wont have to rely on this one for Piracy, as for the modle, the dragons head is a bit big, dont you think? A little sizedown of it maybe?

The way you wrote the text like makes it sounds that it would only be for Kishiro.

I like the head, makes me want to see it with Textures. Finally a new Mining Ship, remembers me on the post when I asked for House designed Mining Ships. Please call it Shenlong.

I still know how I'd liked to see a Bretonian Mining Ship, if you are interested in Jinx or Ivan then pm me.

It is made for Kusari line only, so Samura and Kishiro, I don't see why would Kishiro want to share this ship outside of Kusari honestly.

It's not more powered than hegemon, but it is better tailored for the Kusari needs.
Noboru means ascending, and that is exactly what this ship should do for Kishiro and Kusari

Yay Dragon head!

Now, a few questions:

- gas miner, ore miner, or general miner?
- some stationary too, or only player-ships?
- if ore/general miner, and stationary, would it hold the rocks like the Hegemons would? For example with the spikes there at the front and the Dragon head beeing the equivalent of the 'rock scratcher' of the Hegemon?

- else than that, i do think it looks too much like a warship. It does remind one very heavily of the Kusarian caps.
