Money, Cash and Credit Cards

Today we have the good old Cash, Papers and Metal and we got the new Digital Money which you will never be able to touch, maybe your Credit Card.

Money in Sirius, does cash in the form we have still exist? Or is everything going over Credit Cards and the Neural Net?

I'd think everything would go through the neural net considering its just easier and more convinient that way.

It would make sense that everything would be linked to the Neural Net somehow.

Then again, this being the human race, I'm not sure whether we'd ever give up the powerful feeling of holding a wad of cash in your hand. Or the usefulness of spare change XD

So I think it's safe to say a bit of both. Money still exists, in coin form at least. Any of the larger amounts get Electronicamafied.

Even criminal groups like the Hackers use them?

Why do the Hispanians use them? Surely they must have their own currency considering they weren't in contact with Sirius for a while..

How comes every faction in Sirius can use it, and not worry about being traced/hacked?

To make it real, pirates should tax only on goods or actual money, not on credits.....

I think credits do not go via some motherstation. But are trasfered directly. Similiar like coin can he given to the other peep without bank interference.

Do you realise how in some situation it is hard to do. And what about cargo I do not need? Neither my allies need. You do not have Junker base near all the time.

I think Agiera designed the Neural Net system, pirates eventually got their hands on through piracy I guess. Its possible there was only a single currency before the exodus from Earth, I mean, in today's world China has already suggested using a single currency, so its possible 'Credits' could date back from Earth.

If not, we pirates got their hands on them, through, well, piracy.
