Other than Order...

I was lying in bed one night (New Year's Eve) listening to fireworks, and I relaized I only know of the Order as the sole fighter against the nomads.

So, is there any other factions dedicated to fighting the squids? Corsairs adn Order allies dont count, as Corsairs are Pirates and IMG is IMG. Acronym's meaning says it all.

If not, then I am going to save my creds and make one.

Any info on if there are and what it would need would be helpful.

Hessians are intensively fighting Das Wilde, helped by the Coalition. I believe that Blood Dragons and GCs are hunting down Aoi Iseijins, too.

They aren't nomads Per Se, but it's the closest example you got.

Hessians aren't Unlawfuls per se. Their biggest allies are the SCRA, who are Lawfuls and only ally with people they consider lawfuls. They also fight a corrupt government and all. Think of the Hessians as the Council, in a way.

And why would there be two factions that hunt nomads?

Isn't that an oxymoron?

and the reason why only the Order exists, and not any other faction that is dedicated solely to combat the nomads is because A, the order is a secret organization, and B, Nomads are not common knowledge throughout Sirius. IE a SeCrEt. In role-play, most pilots do not know the existence of the nomads. [LN] Recruits don't know they exist until they've been given clearance to enter the Zone... which also doesn't exist... (shifty eyes) and Most Bounty hunters only hear rumors at best.

One faction dedicated to fight the Nomads is enough. Add more and they'll begin to step on each others toes in terms of role-play overlapping, creating redundancy where I can assure you it is not needed.

Spend your cash on something more needed, there are plenty other factions desperately needing player activity.
