I'm betting it's the built-in Speed Mod from FLMM, but I'll never know because around here it's OK to ban people and give no explanation. I tried using the Exodus Speed mod with FLMM 1.3 and 1.44, and it's not compatible! Three of my friends have the same issue as well and we were using the built in speed mod, well, because it works.

I don't desire to continue playing here as the admins deem it necessary to micro-manage the whopping 15-20 people that use this mod. Pity too, Exodus is one of the best mods out there.

I might as well try X3 Terran Conflict. Seems you can't find a decent Freelancer mod without also having asshat admins.

The server autobans people for cheating, as far as I know, which is something you have just admitted to doing, if I read your post correctly. For breaking server rules, sanctions exist: http://discoverygc.com/forums/index.php?showforum=43

Actually, why am I being polite when you came with that tone? Not sure, really. If you've a complaint, at least know what you're talking about first (prior to bringing it up in a public forum, that is).

15-20 people? Explain then why we're maxed out for about six hours a night? That's at least 200. Our player base is probably closer to 500.

Secondly, if you tried using speed mod on our server yes you are banned. Cheating of any form is strongly discouraged and the server has many built in features to prevent it.

Finally, good luck finding something else to do on the internet. I'm sure many folks will appreciate your attitude, needless to say, we don't here.

Also we lulled, a lot, turns out you actually played on the USA server. Not the 24/7 RP server. This means you've posted on the wrong forums. Yes that's right. You've somehow managed to completely get yourself turned around. Try ranting on the USA forums, although I'm sure you'll get a similar response to the one below.

Hello Scrambles.

I'm really sorry that you couldn't take the time to review the rules and customs of our server(s) before employing a speed mod hack which provided you with a delightful autoban.

If you have a few moments I'd like to take this time to help you review some other warnings that you may have ignored in your haste to make a fool of yourself.

Stop signs are generally employed to govern the flow of traffic. If you see one you may reliably assume that oncoming motor vehicles will pause upon reaching them, providing you with safe passage from one pedestrian way to the next. By no means should you proceed across the road if one of these is not present.

Always remember to pass with caution!

This sign usually indicates a location where a rail way, by which locomotives transit the land, will cross a through way employed by either persons, automobiles or in some cases grazing animals. Assuming that the country you live in will allow a person of your special needs to operate an automobile please remember to be vigilant for these signs and to not park yourself on the tracks!

There are a number of other warnings you should keep your eyes open for, but I don't wish to overburden you and I am almost positive that you have a guardian or caretaker who will be acting as your special helper when operating in the real world.

In the meantime, please enjoy our forums and give my best to the Exodus mod on behalf of the 15-20 players who enjoy the Discovery GC server!

I would be the "asshat" that banned you! Felt damn good too. I love banning idiots that can't take a moment to read rules and find out if they can speed around and such.

If you taken just a small moment and used that tiny brain of yours you would have realized what server you were on and where to post. hell you might have even went to the website and read the rules and known not to use the speed mod. WOW what a thought!!

As to our player numbers, we enjoy a small server especially if it means we have less morons to deal with such as you.

* Thanks Del;)

For those people who wonder WHY we on the admin / moderator team sometimes get snippy with people, I present to you Dan(Wroth). A freelancer player who is incapable of differentiating between Illinois and Denmark. And who freely admits to cheating and breaking the rules - and then is unable to realize just how badly he screwed up...

It's posts like this that make me know that the public school system is, once again, doing the job intended and failing the youth of the world.
