So, I've been thinking a lot lately. If the LSF originally designed the Osiris and Spyglass, how about they get their very own unique battleship combining the best aspects of the two. Long range recon platform with life support, large hanger bays, cloaking tech (in RP), the works.

Naturally the ship would be SRP only, and I think there should only be one in existance, but I just thought it might be a fun idea to toss around.

They probably design the ships, but the Navy is probably the one who use them. LSF is meant to be a covert unit, a battleship...not so covert. Liberty has enough ships as well, were also the only house with a battlecruiser (ironic really).

Besides, they designed both the battleships, yet both got stolen, you'd think everyone in the LSF would think their cursed:P

As I said, cloaking, sensors, carrier based... wouldn't be meant for open combat.

Would be interesting to have one as a forward operating base where LSF ships can refuel and resupply.

A BS large like a barge if not more, a gazillion of transport turrets (they don't have the range heh), 10k of nanobots/batteries and usable only in Alaska, I'm all for it. But before, we install gazillions of weapons plateforms for the hackers or the order don't steal it.

It's an interesting idea. Would be highly limited given RP, but I could see perhaps one. The forward base idea is a good one. But yeah, I just couldn't see a fleet of them. I'd say continue to flesh out the idea.

According to a rumor in a bar in Manhattan, it takes 10 Battleship Cores to power a cloaking device

I do believe a cruiser would be convinient, but then the whole purpose of a forward operating base wouldn't be considered since Cruiser's don't have docking bays (I think). Besides, the Order is considered the most technologically advanced organization in Sirius, they would be the first to create any cruiser which could cloak or do something special which most ships can't.

But at the same time...LSF battleships are cursed...
