For the well-connected player, having a miner ID'ed ship allows for a lot of flexibility for whom to mine with, at the cost of some profit.

If you are looking for both profit and action, mine in Dublin as BMM, Kishiro, or Samura. All three factions have a corresponding official playergroup. Between nationalistic mollies, corsair pirates, Kusari-supporting Gaians, BAF, and the odd KNF patrol, a dull mining operation can easily turn into a tense, exciting fight or chase.
