I don't know if there's a Col. tech column, but there's a Col. ID row. In any case, if in doubt, the IMG tech column is the one that counts. Basically, for getting white cell IMG technology that is used by both parties, like the Nyx and co. shipline, you can ask one of the two factions to allow you use.
I believe this was your main aim here.

Actually the question risen then I start thinking about possible weapon sharing with colonials and corsairs. Checked the tech chart, img weapons are red in there. Well I understand why IMG are red, miners do not like pirates even if they are neutral.
Then checked for colonials - nothing. Corsair ussaly have white boxes with their allies.
Then I tought, that no-one just do not want to give out corsairs fast guns. But checked gaian tech, and its in white box. (750m/s guns)
For Colonials COrsair tech is white. For Corsairs Colonial stuff is ... ????
Unknown since the deal wouldn't be done with IMG, but with Colonials who manufacture weapons too and the question rises.
Ah. Well, you'd probably need to check with the admins about that. The Colonials probably wouldn't mind, but there might be complications with the IMG which would render such an exchange impossible. It's a delicate situation, really.
At a time when Colonials would finally have those ships which were meant for them theirs mod-wise, as well as weapons one day, then they'd surely be a white cell.
