Faction View:
Turpis Heavy Industries is a leading producer of large weapons and parts that go into making the enormous capital ships and freighters frequently seen throughout the Sirius sector. Faction players will spend most of their time transporting ship hull parts and other machinery required for the production of massive space faring vessels between liberty and Bretonia. They will also move Military Vehicles used in the War against Rhineland shipped directly to the front. The company will be based out of Liberty, possibly in the New York system. This faction will be highly corrupt in as many ways as it can be in this game. Underhanded deals with pirates, and other nations, selling weapons to terrorist and anyone else who is willing to pay. THI likes to smuggle goods into nations that are at war with Liberty but have it done under the radar. Paying off cops that interfere and hiring gunmen to assassinate them if they refuse. While this is going on it will attempt to fain a clean slate and honest morals, an outstanding company that cares about the people.

BACKGROUND:
Turpis Heavy industries was formed early on in the beginning of the 80 year war.
A group of Entrepreneurs saw a way to make profit by building large ships and hauling the massive parts required to build them to the waring houses. For many years their ships and shipyards cranked out vessels on all sides of the war. It wasn't until the late Vice Admiral Pellengahr of the Rhineland Navy noticed similarities between damaged Rhineland ships and GMG ships. With charges of war profiteering taking the fledgling company to court and obliterating nearly all profits made during this time THI and it's name sank into obscurity. It wasn't until many years later in 780 A.S. when the company reemerged with an unknown and highly vague funder. Where the company got it's financial boost is still unclear, but it used it's new found power to establish a home base in Liberty and dispatch trader ships across the system. With the constant threat of war between Liberty and Rhineland government officials have kept their noses out of THI's financial background to ensure their influx of Capital ships and parts remains varied and not reliant on one company. Turpis has also moved to close in on the construction and transportation of Military vehicles, Walkers, Tanks, and other ground based armored fighting machines.

GOAL:
Turpis Heavy Industries new Board of Directors is comprised of ruthless and efficient captains of industry. Men who have risen to their ranks by bending, twisting, and inverting all the rules others live by. Their hunger for profit goes unquenched, and their is nothing they wouldn't do to make a few extra credits. Many have noted that like clockworked since the company emerged again it's quarterly has increased at a steady 10% although on paper this doesn't seem possible. Many speculations to how that occurs have given the company a bad rep with other Sirius Corporations. THI is out for profit, and they are matched with the tenacity of any terrorist or pirate organization. The only difference is they have a highly paid team of lawyers to clear their name when they make mistakes.

Diplomacy: NPC
(Shady Diplomacy are allies, neutrals, and enemies we will not openly fight or align with or admit to have connection to at all. These are enemies that we would rather keep our distance and never directly involve ourselves. Or allies we contact only in shadows and whispers. While I openly post them here in RP terms these wouldn't be known officially by anyone outside the Board of Directors.)
I will continue to Update these as we go.

Known Allies:

Liberty Navy
Liberty Police

Shady Allies:

Junkers

Known Neutrals
Bounty Hunters

Shady Neutrals

Known Enemies

Rhineland House Corporations and Factions

Shady Enemies

Ageria Technologies
Bowex

GENERAL INFORMATION:

House: Liberty
-ID: Independent Miners Guild
( I know this ID for this faction isn't based in Liberty but like the way this factions ID is set up since we this faction mainly deals with moving Military Grade equipment and Vehicles their security has to be top of the line and this ID allows the use of Gunboats.)

Ships:
-Freighters:
Grizzly - DL-Hai Liberty Shuttle
Rhino - EL-HiL27 Liberty Freighter

--Transports:
Albatross - CT-39X Civilian Transport
Hercules - Civilian Heavy Lifter

Hegemon - DU5-7Y Civilian Mining Ship

If the freighter in question is slated to hall expensive high end military equipment or nuclear devices the optimal transport is now the Bretonian Shire, due to it's combination of Armor, Firepower and Cargo Capacity.
(Because Liberty lacks any equivalent)

---Fighters:
(Security Forces working for THI will be provided standard Civilian ships, but are free to purchase their own make and model if they find provided ships to be lacking)

I note that you include Gunboats and Cruisers for your vessels.
I'm not really sure why a corporation would need them... but, er...

You know that you're going to have to file a Special Roleplay Request for each one, since they don't fit on the ID, right?

------Gunboats:
Liberty Gunboat

-------Cruisers:
Liberty Cruiser
Replace Upholder with Havoc Mk II.
Remove gunboat and cruiser.
Ships:

Hegemon - DU5-7Y Civilian Mining Ship

Titanic - Civilian Heavy Tanker

---Liners:
Enterprise - L-584 Luxury Liner
Remove Liner and Yacht, since you're not tourist faction. Keep one or two liners for corporate meetings, through and make them shared.

Also, I'd like to see diplomacy, at least NPC diplomacy.

Well I planned on using the Liners and Yachts on all of the Executives characters to show of our wealth. We are a company the mainly build large ships so we would have access to the things we produce. I plan on doing some heavy rp to explain how we get a gun boat or cruiser, involving the Liberty Navy and other people who are part of that, but once again we produce most of the parts those kind of ships are built of. I also dont plan on having fleets of them but want a Security Flag ship. It still has a lot of fleshing out thanks for the replies. Same thing with a liners like I said we would probably only have one of them as our Corporate HQ, since we like to be shady our HQ would do well to be constantly on the move.

Gunboats and cruisers are not allowed on that ID at all, neither does it cater for liners.
I suggest a little more research being done.

I was assuming our Security Forces could use a separate ID. I mean I planned on having everything role played out to maximum effort. Including massive continuing stories related to these vessels in game. Decommissioned ships get sold all the time, is it not possible a company that has the means of production can purchase one of these and refit it for Duty after requesting permission from Liberty?

Well, you cant use the liberty fighters, and you cant use gunboats or cruisers. No amount of roleplay will help you when the LN says No either.

Actually I like the idea. This niche hasn't been filled yet. Corrupt is very good, but don't go on being like Junkers. Deal with shady blokes, keep terrorist and pirate dealings to a minimum and remember where true profit lies. Government contracts.

I see you being close with Junkers. Selling them the big guns. Junkers say they found it in scrap fields and fixed them and sell to pirates. You get your share. Sweet! Perfect cover. Washing money;)I applaud you for the idea. Good start. Has to be implemented right, though.

Backstory needs attention, though.

May I suggest Ageira ID?

Umm during the 80 year war DHC produced Rheinland vessels, so a bit of a change here could be done.

Apart from that I like the idea of a corrupt corporation, except well for the gb and cruisers part but thats has already been addressed
