As much as it pains us to say this, the NovaPG, who were warned here 4 weeks ago, have not met the requirements to be allowed to keep their official status, so it is with great reluctance that I issue this.

As from the 22/01/2009 NovaPG have lost their official status, as such any benefits that status brought them cease to apply. The Guard System reverts to non-owned. Message Dump will be moved to the Communications channel, your recruitment thread will be made invisible, as will your faction status. You will be taken off the list of official factions. Your faction leader will not be allowed to post special requests. If you wish to reapply for official status then you must first pay the 500 million credit deposit.

Well, on behalf of the NovaPG, I'd like to say this is a something of a sad day. It's an old faction, and as acting leader, I can't help but feel I've let a few people down.

Bas, if you read this, I'm sorry. Nobody else seemed willing to take over, and with the leader completely inactive I attempted to get activity levels up and rejuvinate the faction. I failed in doing so due to my own time constraints.

However, I am going to get a few people together, rewrite the faction status and see if we can get the Nova off the floor again.

Yeah, a sad and unfortunate day for us to watch them go. I liked NovaPG and I also like Sentei as well, both had players who interacted with us and performed a good deal of strikes for us. Sentei dissappeared under pressure and NovaPG went inactive. I had always hoped NovaPG would rekindle and honestly I still do hope so and I'll keep my fingers crossed.

Official Factions don't have *that* many privilages that one must lament the loss of its status. Message dumps work all the same in a Communications forum. Recruitment is done best in-game, anyway. "Owning" a system doesn't really mean all that much since 90% of everything you can impose on it can be done when you're unofficial anyway. Only thing really left are special requests which everyone lived without just fine for 4-5 years.

Sad to see this happen, but I've never RP'd or even seen a NovaPG in the server when I was on. Then again, my time on is sporadic.

If you can't hold onto 4 hours of activity a month by at least 5 people...you're pretty dead.

If you don't have enough loyalists to roust the movement after a 4 week notice...

Yeah, they've not been murdered. Or at least, not by the admins. Revocation of official status is more like burying a corpse, than shooting a man.

But, hey! mayhap this will be the shout that wakes them up.
