Decrypting...

Konichiwa honorable Taishogun!
I can imagine you are a busy person, so lets make this as short as possible.

Im in need of a vessel that can be used as a Vessel that is able to do some damage in a fight, but that can also be used as a command ship if there is a bigger battle going on.
The only ships that would be able to meet these requirements would be the your Hachiman Class Gunboat or the Outcast Tridente Class Gunship.
Why Am I contacting you with this if I got the possibility to get another ship, that isnt that rare, thats a thing I can imagine you may ask. So here is my answer:
The Hachiman Class is vessel was always used as a Command ship, so I can be sure that this ship is able to perform in the way I imagined it. The Hachiman is a sign, a sign for all those Serpents that intoxicate our beloved Kusari, It is a sign that they wont have a chance to do more damage, a sign that their end is near! This way It will serve as a harbinger of Change!

And there is one reason we shouldnt mention that openly, but Im sure you dont want that we, your closest allies support the Outcasts, to which your relations arent that good, with the purchase of one of their vessels.

In deference,
Oneesan Rin Masaki

The Taishogun wishes to keep His Sisters close, and grants your request. He recommends you seek out those in the Sisterhood who fly a Dragon Gunboat, to ensure it is suitably fitted out.

May the Hachiman serve you well.

Incomming transmission...

My dear brothers,

I have to inform you that the Amenouzume, my mentors vessel stopped to do its service this morning.
We have been trying to stop the aging process of the vessel for a long time now, but we sadly lack the knowledge to repair the old engine. It is working in a way my engineers are not able to replicate.
We are also not able to replace the engine with anything we have here, or with anything we would be able to organize.
I will return the ship to you, if you want it. I am sure that you have the means to repair it to restore its former glory. The ship has served us well all the time, so it would be a shame if it had to be turned into a source of spare parts.

Respectful salutations, Okasan Ito.

It's sad to hear that our 'restored' gunboats can't stand long periods out of the hands of our engineers -and believe us, they also have troubles to keep these old engines still functional-. The docking bays of Kyoto will be ready for the arrival of this vessel and hopefully, we will be able to extend its service for the next years.

Sayonara.
