Hey, I was just wondering what everyone's favorite film is. Personally, I'm quite partial to Resevoir Dogs, If for no other reason it's full of smug guys who wear dark suits and sunglasses, such a revilountary idea, I give it five thumbs up! :D

Lots of good movies, you are right. I'll try to make up a small rating though I may be wrong even about my own preferences. Top-5 movies for me:
Vidocq
Austin Powers: The Spy Who Shagged Me
Matrix (1st part)
umm... maybe also LOTR 1st part.
And 1 or 2 others, but I forgot the titles. You see I've got strange taste.

"No, I'm serious. Try that again and I will take your balls"

When you wish upon a falling star, your dreams can come true. Unless it's really a meteorite hurtling to the Earth which will destroy all life. Then you're pretty much hosed no matter what you wish for. Unless it's death by meteor.

The race for quality has no finish line- so technically, it's more like a death march.

I like too many movies to list but I particularly enjoyed Last Night, and I love disaster- and end-of-the-world movies. They always have awsome scores!
I like the ones Magic Lizard listed, and other sci-fi and Kevin Smith ones too.
I also really like those asian horror movies, The Ring, Phone etc. I just generally like lots of movies...

Movies I dislike include romantic comedy or really romantic anything, I never watched Titanic.

Edit: I thought for sure more people would put LOTR on here... Not a favourite of my own but everyone seem to love those.

those trilogies.... never grow tired of them. Lord of the rings, Matrix, Indiana Jones, Dune among others Van Helsing is quite okay. But lately there has been alot of Anime conquering my movie shelves.

My companions are:

I beleive the greatest threats to our freedom actually start small, they begin as random events that most people don`t even notice. But they grow, they multiply, they start chain reactions that threaten the entire world. Some people call that fate, i call it Chaos Theory. But beleiving in Chaos Theory doesn`t mean you have to surrender to it"

Do you have an easier question, pls!

I really can't make up my mind... a few of them:
La Vitta E Bella
Night On Earth
Four Rooms
From Dusk 'Till Dawn
Dogma
The Star Wars of course, even Star Wars: Revelations (though the acting sucks)
LOTR (the extended versions - I love the scene when the elven archers come at Helms Deep)

lots of others
