ADMIN NOTICE : KNF ACTIVITY

KNF activity is less than 1/10 that of BAF, RM and LN, all 3 of which are comparable to each other.

Moreover KNF has enemies that are much more powerful, and close. Especially if CR turns against them, though I understand that is now less likely.

KNF has enough activity to remain an official faction; it is just very "off balance" when one of the House Militaries is so much more inactive than the other 3. (Excluding Gallia since Gallian activity is generally less)

In case anyone is tempted to think this is because of the recent increase in activity of the QCP, or the troubles with the CR, that is not the case. This activity deficit has been around much longer than that.

The purpose of this notice is to:

-Advise the community of this imbalance.

-Encourage existing KNF to play their characters more.

-Request that prominent members (especially Angels) assist in rectifying this situation by encouraging KNF applications.

-Suggest Indy KNF consider joining the official faction.

-Suggest that new and existing community members apply to join KNF.

RM recently turned around its activity level. KNF can do the same. Kusari has the potential to be an RP hub.

Hmm, yeah. Perhaps this warning should've been issued before the Nova PG died because they didn't have anyone to interact with in Kusari. And believe me, shooting Zoner whales isn't fun.

Speaking as a past "Taicho" of the KNF, it does break my heart that the Official [KNF] Faction has dwindled in numbers and activity.

I understand that there are lots of "Indy" lawfuls in Kusari.. The new Yakuza, the Kempete, the IKN, etc.;, but it just doesn't "feel" the same.

It wasn't that along ago that KNF could match the BAF in numbers for scheduled events, and impromptu mayhem as well.

There is definitely no shortage of pew pew opportunities in Kusari.. many of its enemies are active and growing.. GC, Kiretsu, ]bd[, just to name the obvious few who come to mind.

Fond memories.. and good people. Thanks, Dieter, for the plea. I don't know why the KNF is flaggin, as I've been away from the server for some time.. it could be any number of reasons; but I personally would love to see the KNF regain its former status in Kusari.

Well, when you count the fact that one chimaera is worth 3 bretonian fighters in pvp... heh.

Maybe this can be RP'd out though, have the brets reclaim a little of their lost 'land'.

The Emperor orders the Imperial Guard to formally be taken over by the KNF. All IG ships will change their ID's to [KNF-IG] and will remain a cohesive wing. The KNF IG wing will be put under the command of Kusari Naval Forces Daisa Hajime "Yureigoroshi" Kitao. Daisa Kitao will report to KNF Command, as well as directly to the Emperor, and will serve as liaison between the Emperor and the KNF Command under Shogun Sulu.

Good to see the admins step up and try to even out the people between houses. Maybe we will see announcements such as these for other dying or unpopulated factions. Start advertising the corps!

That said, I still won't create a Kusari character. The last time I was there left me so big of a distaste in my mouth that I completely lost interest. That and I dislike a lot of the subtleties of the general Kusari RP.

Best of luck to the Kusari players though.
