Hello, Sirius! This is Miyo Shirane reporting from the field!
Yesterday, in the bustling New York system, the Liberty Rogues were once again crossing fire with the Liberty Navy. The Police were nowhere to be found and the rogue pirates had become so bold as to occupy each major settlement in the system before being chased off by the Liberty Navy dreadnaught Seattle. The situation escalated to open combat outside Fort Bush when the Seattle engaged a number of pirate ships with the assistance of a lone freelancer who was passing through.
After a fierce battle, the rogues pulled in their ace in the hole: the dreadnaught Maelstrom. After the Maelstrom became directly involved the situation ended with the abandonment of the Seattle by its crew. The ship itself was not destroyed and I later confirmed that the entire bridge crew had, luckily, escaped with their lives. The anonymous freelancer barely escaped with his life, despite hot pursuit, following the defeat of the Seattle. I was unable to confirm the ID on the freelancer in that mess but the Liberty Navy owes the pilot gratitude. They jumped into the fray without a second thought to aid the Navy when they were clearly outnumbered and outgunned.
In the aftermath of the battle, I was accosted by none other than Captain Evangeline McDowell of the dreadnaught Maelstrom. McDowell is a recent celebrity who has enjoyed a wealth of infamy, seemingly overnight. I was able to get an interview with her at much risk to my own well being. The Captain is a Bretonia born woman who spent most of her life as a Junker. It was on one of her many forays that she claims to have found the Maelstrom in utter ruins. After repairing the massive war machine, McDowell began a new life of terrorizing various systems. The Bridge is crewed entirely by would-be Golden Chrysanthemum members save for the Captain herself. A background check shows that they are fiercely loyal to McDowell for having kept them from becoming cardamine addicted GC thugs. Collectively the Bridge is made up entirely of female officers starting with Evangeline Eva McDowell herself, the first mate Misaka Mikoto, and officers Kana Fujiwara, Fumika Minami, and Sakura Kinomoto.
The Maelstrom and its crew are considered extremely dangerous, especially to small security patrols. Exercise extreme caution when patrolling the ships known whereabouts. As of yesterday, it was still located in the New York system.
If you have any information regarding the anonymous freelancer from the battle at Fort Bush, please contact me on the Garden Path.

Last night in the New York system, Liberty officials engaged a well armed madman in the Badlands. A psychotic terrorist identifying himself as Solaris had taken several civilian and police pilots hostage in his ship and made repeated taunts at law enforcement officials indicating that he had begun to eat them. The police offered to negotiate if he would release his hostages alive; however Solaris insisted that he had already eaten them. The battle eventually escalated and an unidentified pirate, presumed Liberty Rogue, came to the Solaris aid. The battle quickly ended when the arrest became a joint effort between Liberty Security Forces and the Liberty Navy Guard. The LNS Aurora and the LNS Spear made quick work of the two and Solaris was taken into custody. The condition of the kidnapped civilians and police officials remains unknown presently. Solaris is presumed to still be in police custody under the following charges in no order of seriousness: Cannibalism, Attempted Murder, Murder, Kidnapping, Trespassing, Resisting Arrest, Assault, Assaulting a Police Officer, Assaulting a Military Officer, Fleeing The Scene, Failure to Yield to an Emergency Vehicle, Possession of Illegal Weapons, and Collaborating with Pirates.

Miyo Shirane, reporting from the field! Okay... In the Kyushu system today, I was idling near Tsushima Depot observing one of the sisters of the Golden Chrysanthemums. She stopped two trade vessels and demanded from them a donation to the sisterhood. They were the Morphic and the Basalt. The two traders laughed it off and fled with the sister in pursuit. Standard affair, right? |Com: Docking…|::static:: -oticed she’d followed them all the way from Kyushu through to Frankfurt. What an exciting chase; this must be news! I began pursuit and caught up in New Berlin by cutting through Sigma-13 into Frankfurt. Somehow, I ended up in a fire fight between the Unioners and the Wild but that’s a bit off topic, I guess… Anyway! They made a full circle back and lost me but I caught up again by heading straight to Kyushu since I had a hunch they’d be returning. Apparently the sister, ship ID was ‘Aki Shikyo’, had caught on to me because every other trade lane behind her was down. How rude! She even taunted me, she said –Miyo’s tries to imitate a tough voice- “Not as fast as you thought you were, Reporter?” I wasn’t about to lose. Well… I want to say that but the two traders began making confusing, erratic movements to confuse the GC sister and it worked. I was following her, and her movements were even more confusing so I got lost going back and for between Kyushu and New Tokyo. Eventually I caught her again but I’d only then realized that the traders escaped. Apparently she wasn’t happy about losing them after ten systems because she messaged me –tough voice- “If you keep following me, you will die.” She left to the Hokkaido system, so naturally I’ve followed. I waited a bit so I wouldn’t run into her at the jump gate.
::gap in the audio::
I found their base in Hokkaido and returned to the gate to New Tokyo while eavesdropping on their communications. Haha~ Apparently that sister from before, Aki Shikyo, is only an initiate or something! There was some kind of dispute about her having shot down another sister, too. I can’t tell if it was actually infighting or if something went awry during a bout. The ones named Hayley Winters and Sara O’Connel seem to have some authority. I’m reluctant to get closer because I don’t want to be in sensor r- |Sensor emitting a klaxon| Son of a… Speak of the devil, it’s Winters… and two others…! I’ll jus- ::static:: -ave to get out of here. Now. |Com: Docking…|
::long period of static::
::Miyo sighing heavily:: Okay… now that I’ve gotten to the trade lane I can stop sweating tachyons… I’m going to dock at Shinjuku Station and lay low. It seems I got into New Tokyo fast enough that they didn’t notice me. Almost… W-why is she getting closer? Uh… Um…! |Com: Your request to dock is granted. Please proceed to Dock 2.| Whew…
::gap in the audio::
Miyo, again! There was something in Kyushu before I decided to chase the GC. Two Outcast ships sending communications about transporting “cargo” and that the cargo was “female.” One of the ships discovered me and demanded to know my purpose for eavesdropping. Apparently, they want an outlet into the media because they demanded an interview and claimed that they’re Outcasts that aren’t actually Outcasts. I’m kind of interested but… Oh, I’m being hailed. By… oh, dear. Hayley Winters. ::Miyo inhaling deeply:: |Winters: Miyo, can you come out here?| …I…Oh. This isn’t good. ::brief static; followed by Miyo speaking into her headset:: “That was rude of me. Yes?” |Winters: You have Blood Dragon pilots in your hold. I’m going to need those back.| Oh, crap… I just found them in the aftermath of a fight and turned them in for reward money… “Um…This is awkward.” |Winters: Very uncool.| “I-is there any chance you… won’t kill me?” |Winters: How about you make a donation to the sisterhood so we can get them back.| “That… That’s not a question is it?” |Winters: ‘fraid not, bup.| Crap… I don’t have a lot. I hope she doesn’t ask for more. |Com: Transaction complete.| Maybe…Maybe I should send more just in case… |Winters: Thank you for your donation. Have a nice day!| “Y-yes…” ::Miyo audibly exhaling:: Right… Okay. I’m going to go have a heart attack now.

BREAKING: Psychotic criminal, Solari has apparently escaped Liberty Police custody as he was seen in New York earlier today. Caution is advised.
- West Point Military Academy was attacked by a single Nomad this evening. The attack led to station wide power failure and a riot as all detainees were simultaneously released from their holding cells. Officials within the Academy refuse to comment on as to whether any of the detainees managed to escape custody.
- In wartime news, two Rheinland Military vessels were intercepted and ultimately driven off from Liberty space. They were able to make it as far as the Colorado ---> New York gate before being stopped.

This one is not going to introduce herself over this format though you have seen this one once already. It has come to ones attention of your reporting and after reading your report she finds some elements...displeasing.
For a reporter who is pride is her work, you fail to confirm facts before broadcasting them. You fail to know the truth before spouting lies and further enabling the lie that is the Corupption in the current Kusari Government.
You assume things you know very little of and only serve to make your work in reporting false and worth less than it could be if you took time to check facts before annoucing them as if they are truth, especialy when certain things you claim to have seen or know do not exist or never happened.
Perhapes the next time you are seen, we shall discuss this in a very personal manner. One thinks you should make sure all your affairs are in order. We have much to discuss, you and this one. You have much to answer for your falsehoods.
::Miyo steps back from the camera, having just turned it on::
Hello! ::she waves:: Miyo Shirane, reporting live from the field. Today we have lots of small stories about almost every major part of Sirius space! How exciting.
In Leeds, tensions between the Kusari and Bretonian residents reach new highs when the BAF Derby's IFF scanner malfunctioned and the ship opened fire upon a false hostile. Luckily, no one was hurt in the incident but the situation in Leeds grows ever more fragile.
As for Liberty, an unidentified Liberty Navy Dreadnaught and its cruiser escort spontaneously imploded in front of Planet Manhattan. The cause this explosion has yet to be revealed. Laowai, a janitor charged with cleaning up the wreckage comments that this sort of incident happens quite often but is less of a priority to investigate for the Health and Wellness department than the infamous Lawls Syndrome.
::she looks flustered a moment and presses some buttons on her handheld::
Reports from the Edge Worlds say that some sort of combat occurred in front of Planet Malta between Maltese ships and a group called the "Reapers"; this is unconfirmed.
Finally, though I've been cautioned that this never happened so: Today a Rheinland spy was not discovered on board the LNS Vindicator by LSF agents. The attempt to capture said spy was also not thwarted when the spy didn't commit suicide upon being discovered.
This is Miyo Shirane, reporting from the Garden Path.

::the video ends abruptly, replaced with a black screen and a familiar voice::
That's a lie! Miyo Shirane here, taking back the truth no matter what! The battle was concluded after the defeat of Admiral Maximilian however, when given the order to cease fire on the withdrawing Rheinland fighters several Liberty Navy fires not only failed to comply with the order but verbally denied it. Only a single Rheinland heavy fighter escaped the battle after the disobedient Libertonian pilots were ordered more sternly a second time. Despite the declaration from the Liberty Navy itself before the battle began that when it was over they would "march on Hamburg" no such march occurred.
As for news on the Bretonian/Kusari conflict, the Second Battle of Stokes took place with neither side advancing. While neither side won, the BAF managed to keep the Kusari Naval Forces from taking Leeds entirely.
Less dramatic, though possibly much more significant, a ship tagged as a Zoner carrier engaged another Zoner ship and the HMAS Ironclad in Omega-3. The Bretonian vessel's commander, Lumire, alleges that the ship was an AI controlled craft under the control of the Princess of Gallia. How will Gallic officials respond to this accusation and will this lead to an official alliance between le Conseil and the Bretonian government? Only time will tell. Once again this is Miyo Shirane, taking back the truth no matter what!

::After a few days of standard news casts and a familiar interruption occurs, this time with better quality audio::
Hello, again! This is Miyo taking back the truth no matter what. Unfortunately there isn't as much to report as I've been busy learning how to hijack this channel. Haha~ First off, two Keepers attacked New York this week. A voidrunner at first, but it was followed by a mindnode. I would have a more detailed report, my viewers, unfortunately an certain ex-Order member felt the need to chase me away from the scene! ::she coughs:: ...Anyway. In other news, much like myself with the truth, one man in Bretonia is taking back peace no matter what! While reporting on the Molly Republic in the Dublin system, I encountered a pilot named Alfred Pibb in a civilian bomber called BatterUp. Pibb spends his time patrolling troubled systems taking pirates he finds into custody even if it means breaking the law! If you're a civilian in troubled space and you run into the BatterUp, you can be sure you won't have to deal with any pirates. In Rheinland news, I was recently in the Stuttgart system where my scanners read there were four Rheinland Military ships yet I could find none of them. Has Rheinland found a way to visually mask ships? If so, how will Liberty counteract such a feat? The Liberty Rheinland conflict grows worse every day it seems.
Finally, I'd like to publicly apologize to the Artisan Farmers' Alliance for my conduct in Kyushu two days ago. I have no excuse but I hope that this won't lead to any ill will between the Garden Path and the AFA. Thanks for tuning in; on purpose or not! This is Miyo Shirane; taking back the truth no matter what!
