So Tau 23

Well....I keep hearing all this bad stuff about things happening in Tau 23 (System wide sanctions for one thing). But you know, not being able to get in game leaves me wondering....what the heck is happening in Tau 23?

That was days ago..

And it wasn't a system-wide sanction. It was an admin warning telling people to RP when in Tau-23, as the level of RP in that system has been getting lower and lower, turning into a new Connecticut.

Days ago or not I still wanted to know...I am looking into the CR thread and that is giving me a bit of insight...seems like the system is going a bit downhill.

I wonder if it is because of how many people pass through it...miners, traders, smugglers, Bretonians, Kusarians...etc. But something must have started it...looking into it still.

Or, more likely, lolcasts? I haven't read the CR feedback thread, but I have a suspicion that some lolcasts are rubbing the decent Outcast players' names in the mud again.

That and the players there taking things personally instead of in character. Bad times.

I think i can offer my insight from both ends.
Well.. True the RP was going downhill. And still is.
I won't say specifics because i won't point fingers at no one.
All i can say is.. Make two chars. One for the oc's and one for IMG or whatever.
And see both ends. Then.. Take your deductions and form a elaborated opinion.
You are going on the right way, reading everything and trying to build a view of the problem.
But one's opinions is always one sided.
So, do as i say, and get a couple of indies on both ends and sit around 23.
Not much will happen since the whole system just plainly died.
But you will still see the occasional problem here and there.

How it started? Certain CRs blaming the 101st (and SOB too I think) for indy OC ganking them. Then they ganked back. Then people took it personal once again.
And yes, they are still an official faction. I don't say kick all CRs off the server, but I say their ranks need to be sorted out heavily.

So, I dunno, you could perhaps read the CR's feedback thread and follow the instructions there regarding complaints (in short, send names to Atreides2 or Swift), instead of complaining here?
