- The Tournament will start on Saturday, 18:15 GMT sharp. Everyone not being present at this point, WILL be disqualified.
- K.O. System
- 8 1on1 Matches in Total.
- All matches will be held in the presence of the Referee (Cawdor).
- Spectators by Competitors' approval / Not allowed to carry ammo or regens
- Fights start at 7k distance

- Weapons, ID, IFF & Ship must be consistent with NPC Faction
- Invite-only IDs not allowed: phantom, wild, terrorist, nomad etc.

__________ Signing Up

- Buy-in: 35 mil creds.
- Buy-in Transfer to:

- Post of Load-out mandatory.
- It is required to post a Bank Account that pays the Buy-in as well as receives the Prize Money.
- No informations about Armor upgrade required.
- It is allowed to sign up with up to three different ships as long as their loadout is consistent with the gear rules

- If a player is warping too hard when attempting to attend the competition, he will be warned, forced to take a time out and disqualified without refund if he fails to improve his performance.
- Matches may be postponed individually, if poor server performance may cause inaccurate match results

I would love to take the RNS Temeraire down for this if I could actually get there without being shot at by everyone and their dog on my way there. As an "official" (?) event would it be possible to have the admins beam people in for this? If so, I will gladly compete. Otherwise, I am not trying to explain to everyone who passes me what my GRN Valor is doing flying in space decidedly past Council lines. Capital ships cause a bit more of a ruckus flying through than fighters do.

This event is neither initialized nor promoted by the Administration. However, I shall try to pull some strings. But as you may be able to imagine, chances for that to succeed are rather thin as there is no desire to create precedence cases.

It used to be that events listed here carried a sort of weighting with them, if endorsed by official factions. I took "presented by the RHA" to mean that they approved, which might technically make this a faction event... which then allows for some special hijinks to make sure stuff goes smoothly. The admins possibly keeping unwanted folk from interfering, for instance.

I don't think there's anything wrong with a good honest brawl in Conn now and then. You're not inviting half the server into a fullout PvP-fest under the pretense of RP, this is quite clearly an organized, clean event- and not the first one you've run, either.

I would hope that the admins would agree that it would be better to beam listed contestants to Conn for the duration of the tournament than answer the inevitable "ZOMG GRN BB OUT OF GALLIA SANKSHUN". It's only eight, after all. If I don't have to try and take a GRN battleship through NY and put that headache on myself, the GRN as a whole, and the administration, then I will gladly sign up.. otherwise, count me out, sorry.
