The last few days i have designed two ships in Milkshape(Trial Version, means .cmp importer and exporter from Lancersreactor do not work, Milkshape doesn't start).
One is a Kusari transport cruiser, developed by Kishiro for the GMG with cargo modul but also used by the Blood Dragons with a cruiser forward gun module. Its design is very kusarilike.
The next is a Zoner gunboat. Its design is similar to the Juggernaught.

:unsure:Now the problem: I just started my career in moddeling and need some help in texturing and to create a .cmp file. Maybe there is someone out there who can help me to finish these ships?
I would gladly post a picture of each with the textures i created in milkshape but i was not able to make screenshots or export the file as a .bmp or jpeg.
For the future i need a good editor to work on .cmp files for myself. I already tried to search the internet for but haven't found one. I also tried some editors but they were not able to decode the Freelancer .cmp files.
I also need an .thn compiler/decompiler. Maybe one of you can recommend a good one, cause ther are so many out there.

Thanx.

Here's a much better modeling program:

Maya PLE

It's a free, non-commercial version of Autodesk's Maya. You'll need a registered copy of milkshape to turn it into CMP though.

I'd recommend Yuri Neova. He has his hands veeery full right now (he's texturing three of my battleships) but call him in a month and he can help you. Make sure they comply to the Ship Submission Guidelines, found in the Developer's Forum.

Aye, my hands are full at the moment (look at my sig for all my jobs!), but I can say that I am very experienced at this field. There are others out there, but I personally cannot help.

I can still accept the job now, but you will be put on the hold list, until I finish the Spyglass and the Outcast Dready that Epyon contracted me to do. After that, the rest will be a piece of cake for me.

Refer to this topic as well if you want other skins and such.

PM me any questions, BUT, please dont send 50 PMs. Usually when I take on a job, my inbox rapidly fills up to the point where I have hardly any space, and I can only delete the PMs when the job is finished (The PMs have important details in the job). So please regulate yourselves when PMing me.

signature goes here once its done!
