Today, upon returning from a trip to Honshu, the Imperial staff given the reporting pool a press release. The text follows.

Effective with the final ratification of the treaty between the GMG and Kusari, the area from the Okinawa jump gate in Honshu, to Akita border station, and from there to the Sigma 19 and Sigma 13 jump gates, will be declared a GMG Free Trade Zone. In this area, the GMG can allow the trade of Plutonium and H-Fuel by any parties them deem appropriate. The GMG is asked to keep a list of allowed groups and individuals, accessible by the KSP, so they can monitor traffic in the area. This should allow for the free flow of GMG product from Okinawa to areas outside Kusari.
