If it's possible, I'd like to start gathering the modelers and design origins for each ship - leave credit where it's due, and eliminate the "I've seen that ship somewhere out of discovery, i swear" phenomenon.
If you look in "Freelancer\DATA\SHIPS\DISCOVERY" most of the ships are divided into files with the name of the modeler. That should give a good number of them.

it lists "initial creations" - but not replacements. - so we have many custom made ships under the general fighter / cruiser / battleships folders - or in general folders like homeworld etc. - also ... some of the folders are simply wrongly tagged - for example ... zoner gunboat in dooms folder etc.
