My dear friend Mariel Stryker and I elected to stalk and eventually ambush a Cartel convoy from Liberty heartspace to what eventually became Tau-23. Mariel, unfortunately heavily ionized, supplied the cruise disruptors, I supplied the firepower, and the net result is three felled Cartel, not counting the bodies of several conventionally affiliated Outcasts that came to the Cartel pilots' aid. Two further Cartel operatives regrettably contrived to make stationfall on Cali Base, including, bizarrely enough, a "Democritus" - class Luxury Yacht rather larger than the station itself. I believe I am the first Bounty Hunter to, as it were, deliver Cartel corpses. Cartel operatives Menthe and Malevolent were eliminated in Tau-23 space, respectively doubling the appropriate payout; operative Scorch perished in Tau-29. All three of the deceased flew fighters.

Howdy.

One of my boys suggested I pass this information along your way, aint worth a hill of beans in and of itself to you folks really, but he suggested that a lack of incentive on our part to tackle Junker targets might be working against the greater needs of the Kusari State.

Besides, figured you'd like to have the information for your records.

At 0128 Hours SMT I encountered, rather abruptly, a Junker convoy warping from the Sigma 13 jump hole in the New Berlin system while performing a deep recon patrol in a partially outfitted Maffic.

Our idea of downtime after a month in the Omegas.

The convoy consisted of one Barge, a Wasapu and a Conference Class Zoner gunboat. The item of note would be the barge, which was hauling the following.

Realizing that I was in a bit of a situation, being unarmed, I proceeded to evacuate the location under fire from the two Junker escort craft, making my way from the New Berlin to Sigma 13 and ultimately Frankfurt system where I was able to secure refuge. Was a pretty close thing to boot.

Given that I was safe I decided to see if I could pump the Junker for additional information concerning the enormity of their smuggling operation, a gambit which met with a great deal of success. The following recording is to be taken with a grain of salt, it may appear that I am legitimately offering to retain the information in return for currency, but frankly there's few things that I loath more than a slaver drug dealing Junker.
