This is something I've spent the last few hours cobbling together. I was just wanting some criticms, I know it's very very similar to the existing trian, but just as an alternative. I'll be frank, I'm not expecting anyone to get moist over it, particularly as it's unskinned.
Could be a large freighter or a heavily modified freighter made gunboat. Not really designed with anything specific in mind.
What I really need to know though is anyone out there willing to UV map and skin this model, assuming someone wanteds it badly? UV and Texturing are two things I can not do at all, and I'm not willing to learn at this point in time.
What are you talking about? I really like that design! I am going to put my vote as a gunboat. My reasoning is that we have allot of transports already. If we were to add more they should be house specific since that would be the only reason for not wanting something from the considerable civilian line up.
Perhaps a civilian gunboat? That window on the front makes it look smaller which would suit just fine. If it goes that direction I recommend making the rear more armored.
looks to me like a large scale bomber (destroying planet installations). Though in lieu of that option maybe a medium freighter that is more maneuverable. Looks great, hope someone can skin it.

Okay, here's the updated design. The back's been beefed up a bit. Really simple adition, but I've added space for some gun mounts on there. What do you think now?
