Pilot carrying this ID is a member of the Unione Corse, who :

* Can trade and escort smugglers
* Can demand credits or cargo from traders or unallied smugglers and factions
* Can fulfill bounty contracts
* Can engage bounty hunters, pirates, mercenaries, freelancers and terrorists
* Can land on any lawful bases within Gallia
* Cannot ally with any lawfuls except with the Gallia police or against non-Gallia lawfuls and unlawfuls
* Cannot use any transports with more than 4,300 cargo except the l'ane

Allowed ships: Fighters, Freighters, Transports, Gunboats

Carrying unmounted IDs in your ship, as well as not equipping an ID, is a serious crime.

Alright. This is the ID of the Union Corse. The underlined section is what I'm bringing up. I think this section, right here, is rather controversial.

More importantly, I must ask if the lawful term is used to describe the Royals or the Council. The Council is considered lawful, right? And the Royals are considered lawful, right? So please clarify, does this mean the Royals, the Council, or both? If they can land on both, that seems rather odd. The Corse is allied to the Brigands and such, and landing on Royal bases would ruin their relations.

From what I've understood from my time playing as a Gallic Cop I think it's about the royalists. Since the Union Corse are like some Mafia people. They are not really lawful but they've got good deals with the police. They sometimes even act like Gallia's Bounty Hunters by collecting lesser criminals.

As far as i understand the ID it says you can land on any bases in Gallia.
If it makes sense that the UC can do that, while those who control 75% of the Gallic Black Market can't is another question.

In a brilliant tactical movement, i charged backwards.

Royals = True Lawful
Council = semi-lawful
Junkers = semi-lawful
Corse/Maquis/bridgands = unlawful

thats how i see it

But since the Gallic Royal Police is corrupt they do deals with the Junkers and the Corse to ensure they have some sort of back-up when they get in trouble. That's why Corse sometimes assists them by doing bounties and in return the Police turns a blind eye to their smuggling.

From my experience of playing as a UC for a while, i decided not to dock on any bases apart form faction who were clearly allied to UC, how ever it is a very good question.
In my opinion i think it is the Council bases you may land on.

My opinion is outdated

I have a UC, and i RP him as a Mafia/Stealthy/Ninja sorta thing. It makes perfect sense that a UC can land on pretty much any base in Gailia. Which, i do. Like, when fleeing, you can "stealthily" dock on a royal base. And yes, he's neutral to everyone except the closest allies.

If you attack a GRP or GRN though, you can no longer dock on their bases, or you'd be looking at a nice sanction.

They would check who lands, no such thing as 'stealthily' landing on a secure military base.

It's been abused ever since it was added, so openly attacking the GRN or GRP denies you the ID right in future, at least until the heat dies down.

True but that's not what i meant. I meant, being chased by a GRN and such, jumping off the tradelane, and docking on maybe one of three bases. And poof I'm gone. If i did engage him, i fight to the death with pretty much all my chars, so either he dies or i die.

I'd imagine the same goes for hitting EFL, GMS, and IDFS. So I'll put it this way:

Only land on the unlawful bases to avoid confrontation.
