Ok so does anyone know if FL with Disco will run on Virtual Windows in a Linux setup. I drop off of Windows for weeks at a time and don't want to stop playing FL (I know it is simple to just make a boot menu and switch to Windows, I just like not seeing it take forever to boot up). I've gotten a couple of other high end games to work, i.e. Oblivion, with minor issues. I am planning to abandon Windows altogether as I want new OS goodies but don't want Vista. I guess it is also important in FAM works....oh gosh I am already seeing problems....
ok....get linux....
get beryl...
create a virtual hdd....and run windows on one side of your cube....
will work...unless you have microsoft bugs....
which seem to be common on non emulated systems as well.

the theory is sound...anyway.
Yeah..that is what I'm doing now running PCLinuxOS but what I've come to realize is Linux is not going to use my Windows registry for FL, is it? Without windows registry no online Disco
What about entering the key when you go MP? If the program can go further than the "no registry error", you should be able to play, as the key would be stored onto main memory. The underside would be that you will have to enter the key every time you play..
(If you find any mistake in my English, please let me know via a PM)
(Really, I speak terrible English, so please, tell me if I make mistakes. I'd like to improve it a bit )
