Hi all, I don't know if this belongs here but if it dosn't just bear with me... A while ago I was reading the 'Yes I have no sheild... Stop telling me to buy one' topic (IT KEEPS GROWING AAAAHHHGGGG!!!) when I had the idea:

What if some nut-cases broke out of planet Manhatten mental intstitution and spread across the know galaxy. Or what if the loonies were being transported from somewhere to Manhatten when the ship was intersepted by Xenos who then after brief interrigation (where they got nothing but singing and gibberish ; ) ) they turned us back out to the universe to cause havoc.

If yah read the topic I put a link to it has some of the ideas already, but does anyone thing this is a decent clan idea? A license to sing random lyrics over the system comms or try and talk to non- live objects or just sound crazy, and did I say no one uses shields?
heh heh... well anyway would anyone join a clan like that? or am I just crazy? *crazed laughter*

cool, I had a look through the link- but I was thinking more of a mass breakout, and also I have been having a PM conversation with Unit-sk855 (who is the main reson for me doing this) about it and he recons it's a good idea. I also came up with the idea of a group of infulencial, and completly sane businessmen funding the TDR (Talk to Docking Ring. What? They're crazy aren't they?) for unknown reason or purpose. (a tag being TDR-T?)

In gaming terms this would mean players could fly transports, freighters and generaly bring the money home ect... whilst staying in the limits of the story. They could instead of just using a xenos or trader tag or whatever use any of a list of Liberty mega companies such as Synth foods or Ageria IDs (to represent their background.) However the actual ID of the TDR is questionable... Do we use Xenos, Neutral, Merc, what? I'm open for advise as well as critisism and of course people interested in joining...:)

Freelancer ID

Pilot carrying this ID is a freelancer who works for him/herself, unwilling to join any of the Sirius factions. Freelancer ID grants its owner right to participate in various missions and military operations, fulfil lawful and unlawful bounty contracts, escort traders, hunt pirates and terrorists. Freelancer ID owner is not allowed to pirate, openly join unlawful forces, or trade on regular basis.

Allowed ships: Fighters, Freighters, Gunboats, Cruisers, Battleships

Carrying unmounted IDs in your ship, as well as not equipping an ID, is a serious crime.

You see? That's in the 4.84 Beta 1. So when it's released to the RP server... and meanwhile, we'd use the Neutral ID. No traders though, that wouldn't make any sense imo... just Freighters and Fighters, pref the newbie kind. Like, for example, starfliers/startrackers, Rhinos, CSV w/ or w/o Cargo Container...

Yeah but the scary traders who are funding us for unknown reason has lots of RP to it. (anyone who reads Terry Pratchet books would carry it narivitum:), just a random thought...) And also, names... What is RP for a crazy person? I was having a conversation with a person in-game when they suggested the name could be the first thing they saw or heard out of the asulum... like 'bigmanwithpointystick; or 'Getawayfrommyship!' or 'foot' or 'spew'. And I couldn't be a clan leader because i'm signed up with the KNF and Benitez family. Unless I used the account manager with another code that is... Aw well

I'm thinking NO cap ships what so-ever seeing as no ship dealer in the known universe (even a outcast high on cardimine) would sell any of us one. If anyone likes the idea and wants to try it out put down the name you would use and when you'll try and get online and I'll do my best to get online... But I may be busy eating shoes :crazy: and unavadible...
