First of all I apologise if this is in the wrong section but I couldn't find anywhere else to post this.
I have recently started an indy Outcast character for fun when I am bored and I noticed it said we can ally with Nomads. I was wondering if anyone knows why we can ally with them as I don't have the faintest clue as to why we can and I am not sure where to go to find out said information.
if anyone could link me to where the information is located or explain why we can ally it would be appreciated as I want to make sure I RP correctly if any situation arises.
I had some confusions about it too, Reading The Nomad Lore helped a lot, because many aspects of Nomads-Outcasts relationship is explained there as well.

Usually the Nomads would just take it from the wild.
But the Outcasts have made it more abundant than ever, the Nomads do what they want with it after that.
Your arguing with the leader of 101st about OC/Nomad lore???
No, Das Wilde is infested nomads, their mission is not to aquire cardamine, but to spread the nomad influence and study the human kind (i think). Nomads have other means to aquire cardamine. Some through our offerings (the religious community), some through "mind controll"....
@Kupo: It's a bit more complicated. Liquid Cardamine does of course require the substance to produce but the exact method it is made is unknown at the moment. Bit by bit it'll be revealed in due time, keep your tabs on RP communications and story forum channels. So for now all you can do is to theorize on it's origin, purpose and what it can do.
@Violet.Lotus: few bits explained in Nomad lore. However there is no saying how exactly to RP when you meet a one - it is up to you, a player, to think of what your character would do. There are various ways, but feel free to improvise, just never forget the consequences. Extra caution is advised - don't expect Nomads to act according to your logic.
As the others have said, Nomads depend on cardamine, which the Outcasts produce.
It's not exactly an "alliance", more like a mutual cease fire agreement that exists between two bodies. Outcasts wouldn't pew the Order along with squishies and squishies wouldn't raid Gamma with the Outcasts.
That is incorrect statement. Nomads are not dependent on Cardamine, it does not cause addiction for them and they use it for a different purpose altogether. To them it's sort of "adam" substance from Bioshock - a clay to alter genetical code, controlled modifications. As with humans (i.e. Outcasts and other addicted humans) it's the similar mechanism but resulting in different outcomes. Essentially it's a "modding" resource, bio-modding in this case.
