This will be a thread where I will gather some videos from various interesting encounters that I come across in the galaxy of Sirius.

I have created a Camera ship account on the primary server called "Sentinel.Probe". If you engage in RP with it, I'll RP back no problems. But my main goal is to fly around and hope to come across a battle or some interesting goings on. If you know something is about to go down, PM me and I'll see if I can make it and record it.

This is my only video so far:
  • Battle of Holman Outpost Tau-31 - 23/05/2010. This was a quickly made video, and I plan to improve not only my camera skills, but my editing skills. Only with practice.
  • Revenge vs Liberty Navy - This is a raw video with the sfx removed and music added over it. Editing 28.9Gb of video isn't fun, so its unedited battle between a Legate and some Liberty Navy ships.
Stay tuned for more! The probe has been dispatched!

Man, that's very nice video. I watched on 720p since monitor doesn't support 1080p. But nice quality aswell.
I am interested in some details on which tools/programs are you using except FRAPS of course.

I just used a full version of FRAPS, and Windows Movie Maker for Windows 7. I turned off messages and the HUD to take the GUI off Freelancer.

I just watched the full thing. That was pretty sweet dude.

Will you be filming the Outcast vs. Corsair battle as well?

What are the specs of your computer? I also use a full version of FRAPS and Movie Maker on Win7, and I don't get any FPS lag in-game, but when watching the recordings, it's terrible. :S

Dude just don't watch them in 1080p. It's not much of a difference, really.

[12:13:29 PM] Alex: You've completely misunderstood what I said. I don't get to chose that kind of thing when watching my own videos.

Cheers, and I don't know when is this battle you speak of?

The best place to see the specs of my rig is here:
http://www.novatech.co.uk/novatech/pc/range/iforge.html

Its a powerful rig. Try turning the sound capture off, it does help in my experience.
