OK, who are you guys??

I encountered two of your ships in Tau-29 this morning. Both of them above level forty.. one above 50 I believe.

Both of ya were still squawkin' "Police", which is not that unusual among the lazier new players around Disco; but your ID's were a bit jarring. One "Neutral", and one "Zoner".

Yet, both of you seemed to have a good share of pirates in your holds. Now.. I know Zoners don't plink at pirates as a general rule, (unless serious rep-fixing is being undertaken); and I highly doubt that a Neutral ID would be harvesting too many pirates either.

So, just curious? Do you plan to have one ID in future? Plan to actually be a recognized Faction? Or, should I just ignore you completely as being beneath my time to even attempt some form of roleplay with..?

I couldn't really be arsed to take screenies and file a formal "incident report". Our Admins have enough to do without worrying about piddly stuff like this.

But, I don't know whether to laugh, cry, or just go blind.

Enlighten me, will ya? That is, if you even bother to read these Forums..

Well, from what I know. [HD-NP] are a group of German (3 I think), only one of them speaks bits of English and they didn't have any plans for roleplay the last time I saw them.

It's a start to getting your answer I guess..

Screen evidence needed please before anyone can do anything about it. I'm not that happy with the current
plethora of faction tags appearing with little regard to the existing roleplay here. Damn selfish in my book.
Post them in the usual place, and this can be sorted out as quickly as possible - Hoodlum

Are they really German? If so, I'd volunteer to have a little talk with them, just give me a call including the content I should tell.

i encountered 2 of them ( zoner and neutral then, too ) in delta 3 days ago. nudged them into a more roleplay direction - and suggested to get a merc ID, since they stated that they d be mercs.

note, that was 3 days ago, and they promised to be right on their way to shigoku/dejama station ( or something - that BHG station that sells generic and BHG IDs )

appears they were not. and yes, i told them the rules and where to get the IDs in german. so it was no misunderstanding there.

Here are screenies of their licenses. Taken about 5 minutes ago...

Still the same ones they've had for a few days apparently.

i just remembered the reason i contacted them. one had a zoner ID and was grouped with one having a generic pirate ID. but at least the zoner guy is the same one from delta.

just rememberd, cause i was all afronted from seeing a zoner group with a pirate - most of all a generic pirate ( lowest scum of all - :D) - it was the zoner that i told where to get a generic merc ID.

btw. they said that their clan is not so much of a clan anyway - and that their playstyle is more about .. unaffiliated freeroaming. bit of all - pvp without tight roleplay bonds. i think the lack of english makes it hard for them to really feel integrated, but the fact that they still haven t changed their IDs shows that they don t really try too hard either.

you guys know my opinion, but, I'll say it again....

people need help...and, the fact that it's an english server is fine, but, just because they don't speak english, or not well, is no reason to be against them...they need help.

people often say, when someone posts in the welcome thread, that if you rp, you see more rp.

and, here we have people who have no RP, and may feel alienated from the server.
so, RP with them...help the guys out.

I don't speak german,
but someone does, and, some of them speak a bit of english...people don't need much.

so, please give concerted efforts to help people RP before you ostracize them....they already feel left out.
and, these people may be wonderfull additions to the server.

but, usually, they get ostracized...and then banned...
and That thought makes me sad...

ps...a lot of these thoughts, are new to me too....but, it seems sad that they are new...

I tried to communicate with them - about 4 or 5 times, and received no answer. Someone who speaks german may need to talk to them again.

I contacted them, they use an online dictionary for the communication to others. Pretty much a good first step IMO. One of them is registering in the forums now, so they can know what does really go on here.

Let's give them a chance to have fun here. They deserved it, too.
