For one, I'm excited about the upcoming event, even more so as a long time order player.
I think this event will do all the players who play around the Omicrons some good by either; sampling another faction's roleplay concept or making friends with another faction and other players. Even if you don't decide to try a faction different from your regular, which I certainly will, it should be good fun for all.
But in order to make it brilliant fun, and better than the first event, we need your co-operation. For the PvP lovers among us, this is a perfect opportunity to show off your skills. For those not as adept at PvP, or those who just aren't as keen to fight; there will also be ample roleplay opportunity within a combat environment.
This brings me onto my next point; roleplay. I have no doubt that all the players who attend will roleplay to the best of their ability but I still have to say this nonetheless.
Although there are relaxed rules, this is a roleplay event, and you need to be on your best form at all times, which I'm sure you will.
I'm toying with the idea of having several independent "Commanders" who can be trusted to lead while a FL is not present. But this is just an idea at this stage.
Whatever happens remember, we're all here to have fun. And we, as players will make sure that a good time is had by all.
Sure, shouldn't be a problem so long as the event isn't strongarmed and choked by over-parenting as well. Keep in mind too, everyone, that raising the bar of expectations can lead to frustration and arguments. Some good old simple clean fun is the aim, guys. Let's hope for that nice balance of having fun without anyone going overboard either as a lolwut or a zealous tavern bouncer. I have faith, though, last event went well with very little Q_Q so my optimistic predictions are that this will be accomplished with success too.
