well, yuri is doing an EXCELLENT job with his movie making, it also helps promote disco tbh.
and ghost mentioned in one of his posts a sa/hf only war. no allies, no mercs, nothing. a balanced war between the SA and HF one day, co-ordinated all out.
i can get the RP up for the HF side within a day or two, and if anyone wants to co-ordinate with me?
did any ask whether the SA has a problem with this or not? Quite frankly I do there are three SA I can name off the top of my head already involved in the TBH/SCRA/RM war one being myself. I'll let Christina decide though, between working on an RP and helping McNeo with ideas for the next fight + schoolwork a bit stressed for time.

and when i said the SA/HF war, i didnt really imagine it happening within a week or so.
id rather have a lot of rp involved, use stories etc to build up the RP a bit more, set some sort of rules/guidelines as to whats happening, and to prevent cap spamming certain types of ships are avialiable, a battlegroup.
this was just an idea, and it will take its time, just like the SCRA+TBH/ RM one is. i would like to know if the SA is up for this. if the SA isnt, then how about the LSF? our hostilities currently with the LSF are about the same as it is with the SA, so either could do fine.but this means no outside help. its a strictly HF vs SA or HF vs LSF campaign.
right now, i want the suggestions of people within the HF, SA or if anyone else has any, useful critisisms, ideas for RP. im thinking on along the lines of drake's disappearance. maybe the HF thinks hes been kidnapped by the SA, and are supposedly holding him cpative on LA or something, and they have taken a battlegroup to secure the area and bring back drake. the SA have moved out to LA, to destroy HF presence in cali, and to help LA defend it from planetary assualt. the story will pick off from there..
Well if SA agrees (or LSF if SA doesn't), it sounds excellent. Also a perfect chance for me to test "the weapon". If you don't know what I'm talking about, you will if/when we do the RP.
From my point of view, a series of large engagements would have to involve both the LSF and the Southern Alliance, only because you would be attacking Liberty, and hence those two factions who both protect it.
From the standpoint of the war that I am fighting in at the moment, TBH/SCRA vs RM, there isn't another military or police faction to side with the RM, so they don't get an ally unfortunately (though they seem to be coping quite well...).
If HF were to go to war, I would expect it to be against both the LSF and The Southern Alliance.
Myself, Razr, Kress, Equinox and possibly a few others are also fighting at the moment in the current war. Also, the amount of hate that has, well, festered between the HF and SA may also be a problem. I hope I am not one also filled with this hate, but it is a much larger problem.
There are many more variables with this war suggested than the TBH/SCRA vs RM war, as they used some vanilla role playing to put the war into action. Wars like this shouldn't become common, as it would become boring to fight over and over again. It should be like a "treat", as wars generally detract from personal role play (as in, you go in, PvP, go out again, and wait until next week or whenever the next fight is). I'm not saying they are bad, they should just be limited.
Actually, I was thinking more on the lines of an exhibition battle for the movie... I don't know about you, but I find it hard to hate another player... (even supernova merely annoyed me) Of course, I'm not involved in the current wars so I'm rather bored.

sonja, i dont expect this to be happening anytime soon, possible next month or even later.
if the SA and the LSF want to be in it together, obviously, therre will have to be a major limit to cap ships. there are loads of you put together anyway. as well, since the Bs are allied to the HF, i would like to take the oppurtunity to ask dboy, would the Bs| be able to assist the HF, since they hate the SA as much as the HF do.
remember, the HF are on the offensive (taking my brienf rp story into consideration), trying to get back drake from LA, while the SA and LSF will be on the defensive. if the HF have half the no of total enemies. its daft as hell. and not to mention kinda unfair. that was one of the reasons why i mentioned a 1v1 (faction wise) in the first place.
if Bs are willing, all the better.
and remember, this will be only one (or two maybe.) war. since the HF will be going there to rescue drake. winning or losing will edit the ending alot for everyone.
oh and what ever is said, i sense hostilities on this thread (maybe there are now, or coming, i wont say), id just like to tell people this is a discussion, an idea put in place.

Sorry to interrupt you, but what kind of hate is there between players you are talking about? I for one don't hold grudge to anyone there. I may not like certain people, may not like their attitude, but that holds no impact on my roleplay whatsoever and I tend to keep my thoughts to myself and never going into public with those.
I see wars as a logical conclusion to years lasting hatred between factions (in roleplay). There should be collisions, should be both local and massive battles, betrayals, rumors, conspiracies and and more. I'm afraid but the whole game is actually all about that, it's just that we use roleplay as a constraint to prevent chaos on server and to keep those battles civil and fair to certain extent. But the fact is that most of what we do, most of our roleplay one way or another leads to the conflicts, it is essential part of the game, a central node holding all parts together. From my short time observations I made conclusion that certain factions ceased to exist due to the fact they no longer had enemies to fight within their reach of RP.
As an idea I support Frozen here. But this is no quick task, it takes a lot of time to prepare and make it live. The question is: are all parties involved are willing to do that?
