I tried to conect myself to multiple Discovery server but here's what kind of message i receive

1. The requested operation is taking longer than exected (unusual msg for me i have a stable high-speed connection)

and then:

Connection could not be established with the server please check your ..... bla bla bla(but my internet is working perfectly)

so I can't play freelancer but everything was fine before.
B'cuz of this problem i have reinstalled my game and no progress

I have Freelancer account manager
Freelancer(original CD)
Freelancer mod manager V1.3

Any solutions?

PS: Also tried without the mod and i get the same results
PS2: And my game is freezing when clicking OK when the message pop-up, it also freeze when i press escape when I'm tried to log on any sever.

Double check Freelancer is permited to access internet in your firewall. I realise it used to work, but somehow it may have been set to deny access. Worth checking.

You just use windows firewall? You do not use any other 3rd party firewall?

Try using a direct connection to the server, right click on the freelancer shortcut on your desktop, choose properties.

In the target line put -s82.113.48.5:2302 with a space after the line thats allready there.

For example mine looks like this
"C:\Program Files\Microsoft Games\Freelancer\EXE\freelancer.exe" -s82.113.48.5:2302

Click apply, close this box, start freelancer then goto multiplayer, choose LAN..
Discovery server should display..

Sorry my friend, I'm stumped then. The server is up and running and obviously your internet connection works.

Hope you figure this out

Ok, what virus protection, firewall, or any other program on your computer that would 'defend' you against stuff do you have installed? (Example: Norton, McAfee, Avast, ect)
